I’m full Lebanese, got hummus and tabouli runnin through my veins
Wife’s background is French and Irish, with some Native mixed in. With how she makes Leb food, she’s pretty much Lebanese now though

OH THAT’S GONNA MAKE FOR SOME FANTASTIC FUSION COOKING!
Me = Estonian/South African
Missus = Scottish/UK
It get’s weird in the kitchen here too; my “fusion” of her foods is making British Cuisine just taste better
Nobody cooks that well.
Give it a try if you like spicy food, I normally do it with just mushrooms, but thought I would try a veggatable version. It was good.
While it is VERY HARD to make BOILED CHICKEN taste good, it’s doable if you add: SALT.
After having both black pudding and Yorkshire pudding I can say with all certainty the british don’t know anything about pudding.
Just kidding, Grandma. Sorry!
Staying true to the topic, this is my shameful elevenses meal
OOOOOOHHH Taquitos!
Are they made with LARD?
(I made standing pastries once and it called for Lard… fuck that noise, I used butter and FUCK what a difference).
Fuck man, your posts here kill me when I’m hungry. In the best possible way of course
Actually many Mexican restaurants do boil their chicken and I find it’s fantastic. Assuming they season properly it is flavorful and super moist. But yeah, without seasoning boiled chicken is bland and lame. Not quite as bad as unseasoned roasted chicken or turkey though, as that produces something that smells like farts every time
You’re supposed to dip the sandwich in the soup not stack them like a game of Jenga.
I’ve got to put them somewhere while I’m chewing
Good call
That’s what’s on my menu for dinner tonight, gums are a wee bit sore in some spots…”like working in a new pair of heels”, or so the Denturist told me.
