What do stoners eat? 🍴 (Part 2)

That’s just too great, using a charcoal chimney as the grill! And the dogs fit perfectly!!

I’m supposed to poach a chicken in honey tonight but I’m very close to shutting that down and just ordering a pizza.

This was simply a particularly nice rib eye. Reverse seared, I thought it looked good in the pan. The lines are from the rack it sat on in the oven. I didn’t turn it over while it was on the rack.

The rest of dinner was a baked potato with sour cream and chives, and Brussels sprouts.

Fucking delicious! The rest of the flesh will be a sandwich tonight.

Above was last night’s dinner as I cooking it, this is this morning’s breakfast being cooked.

I know @Gpaw likes things fried in bacon fat (praise the lard!) and I know it’s his birthday, so I thought I’d present my breakfast in a little different format.

I didn’t snap a photo of the 2 thick cut bacon slices (stoner here), but all the fat for this morning’s breakfast was from those 2 slices. I give the spuds several tosses to completely cover them with fat, then coral them directly over the burner. These have been parboiled for a few minutes and then drained fully.

I’ve turned them once in the next picture. You can see they’re more closely packed.

I like to turn the potato pieces three times. After the second flip I add the onion. I prefer a red onion although any will really do. They get so sweet and yummy!

Everything came out of pan at this point and onto the plate with the bacon. I fried two eggs over medium in the remaining fat. The eggs then went onto the potato pieces.

As I’m eating, I like to individually pair onion pieces with potato pieces so they come out even. Last bite needs to include potato, onion and egg. And no, I don’t count the pieces ahead of time. I’m really bad with numbers.

Let me just mention that there was a lot of bacon fat this morning. More than I normally would be using, but because it’s Gpaw’s birthday, I thought what the hell, it’ll be my nod to him and his good taste! (And it will be so delicious!!)
