My kid had one pulled almost 2 weeks ago. I felt kinda bad the first few days that he couldnāt eat solid food, but he didnāt even care he was too busy eating ice cream and chuggin smoothies
Iām lactose intolerantā¦ I have been on a chicken noodle bingeā¦Ramen was tough evenā¦ on top of it, Iāve been getting 2 hours of sleep, fuck man. My jaw is hurting. Btw Iām against opioid pain killersā¦ but still I have forced into a small tolerance break of the medical pot.
Also quit cigarettes cold turkey 4 days ago.
The only way I could do itā¦
I wish you success on that!
Avoid your ātriggersā at all costs.
Cheers
G
Man you putting yourself through it, but if you had teeth pulled you donāt want dry sockets, thatās really painfull. So quitting the cigs and weed is a good idea but I sympathize with your dilemma. I hope you get over it quickly.
I had to come off the weed after periodontal surgery work, because it made the dry mouth unbearable. I donāt do pharmaceutical pain killers either so it was an awful month of recovery.
Thanks bud, I needed to quit smoking . Itās time now more than ever. Iām done with smoking bud for a bit. Until my mouth fully healsā¦my wife said the same thing, cigs bud and no sleep lol makes for a grumpy guy lol. Nah I stay happy. I have been taking small doses of mushrooms and ediblesā¦ @Gpaw my largest trigger is waking up. Once I get past that Iām good for the day
Thank you guys for your support.
Iāve decided I donāt really like eggplant,itās got that taste about it lol, next time I make musaka Iām going to slice potatoes instead
picture this: a tortilla with two hotdogs, mozarella cheese, diced onions, and sliced tomato, with mustard of course. not even worthy of a picture, lol.
Thereās always hotdogs in my house Filipino thing makes the dogs farts stink extra as well
They all taste the same hotdogs Iāve even had Kobe ones
Have to drown them In Colemanās mustard
There is a couple of (Dental Professional Recommended) products I know of on the market that are designed to aid in Dry Mouth āIssuesā. @Pawsfodocaws These might help you too, after youāve healed up a bit more.
The First is called Mouth Kote and this one is made of āall Natural Ingredientsā:
The second is called biotene:
I realize youāre likely not still having the mouth troubles, for future reference though these are good products to be aware of!
If I had known or been told about either of these products years ago, I might still have all my teeth! Big Pharma SUCKS
Thanks I will make a note of it. Although my wife has told me we are getting a divorce if I ever have the other 2 teeth worked on that I was supposed to have done after the 1st 2 lol.
It was supposed to heal in 7 to 10 days with minimum discomfort. My face was bruised from my forehead to my shoulder and so swollen I could not eat for 10 days.
I would wake in the morning after very little sleep and my tongue would be stuck to the roof of my mouth where they took the skin for the graft. As soon as I unstuck my tongue it would pull the stitches and there would be blood everywhere, it looked like someone sacrificed a goat in bathroom every morning lol.
In the end I would coat my tongue in coconut oil before going to bed to try and stop it. That stuff looks like a better option cheers
OMGās!!! Thatās horrible, Iām so sorry the āProfessionals/Practitionerāsā who did that to you, didnāt give you less stressful, after care options!
Iāve got a real beef with the āMedical SickCareā & āDental SickCareā system in this country both are designed to drain your wallet or your health, especially if your wallet is already empty/drained! Rant over!
If Iām correct youāre not in Canada, Iāve been through similar mouth pain though, so I can completely empathize.
Iām glad you got through it okay.
I thought the defining characteristic of musaka was the eggplant.
Still, that sounds delicious!
I am in Canada, I had the work done at Dalhousie university dentistry training center so it only cost $350 instead of $1200.
The dentist was already qualified and had been a practising peridontal surgeon in France and emigrated to Canada, then had to re take all his qualifications.
It took nearly 18 months before it stopped being painful and I still occasionally get some nerve pain from it. My body does not like invasive procedures, it always gets an infection.
Nova Scotia, right!
My apologies for not checking that.
Iām also sorry you didnāt get through it so well, my body doesnāt cope well with invasive surgeries either.
I usually, have to go in more than once because the āPractitionerāsā, missed something on the first go round.
I thankfully havenāt had anyone misplace jewelry, as far as Iām aware!
Free gold!
Thanks for this information
I read traditional version had potato, but the wife likes the egg plant could make half and half like a pizza
Perhaps youād like it better with those smaller Asian eggplants? I hate the big ones but like the little ones.
