Chicago has some of the best neighborhood restaurants if you ask me…hard to find good restaurants out here in central Illinois area…I have no family up north anymore but still have lots friends in Chicago…
I also went to Supreme Lobsters to buy $200 worth of freshly sucked oysters…
As you can the oyster tray is empty because I bought all of it…$30 a pound.

Oh…my…gawd…
We can’t get decent seafood here–and we’re surrounded by f-ing lakes!!
You’d THINK we’d have at least ONE good seafood joint!
But I guess the mentality in Michigan (unless you are in a big city)

Not all sushi has fish-- some has cooked crab or shrimp, even tempura chicken!
You just haven’t had a good ‘sushi guide’ to introduce you to it!
I can not eat fishy fish…most lake fish is a no-go for me because of that…
And some types of fish in sushi are very mild- you can’t smell or taste anything ‘fishy’…
Then there is eel (yuckko!)
