I plan on getting in both tents today and stirring things up. I’ll inspect my plants and search the corners and make sure I’m beetle free. Looks like an excuse to do a good cleaning.
The larval stage is a pollinating caterpillar and they seem to be removeable just by cleaning anywhere they get into and sealing up their entry points. Doesn’t seem like too much of a threat, especially if you haven’t found any inside.
@FailingForwards - I’m a little confused, are you suggesting it’s a caterpillar? Sorry - maybe I haven’t had enough coffee yet.
Yes. Or at least it’s a reincarnated caterpillar. Its larval stage is a fuzzy caterpillar that eats pollen, and its adult stage is that beetle there. I think it’s on the left side in the picture @Purple-N-Hairy linked.
Sorry about that. After I re-read it I understood what you were saying. Both tents have been cleaned and no signs of any more beetles. Thanks for the reassurance guys.
