What is this called? [Solved] Variegation

I have seen it for years. It was one of the only real signs you had the true Chem D cut. Also shows on almost every cross Bodhi ever did with Snow Lotus as it throws that gene.

Don’t think I have ever seen it given a name, but it is fairly common. Pretty sure I have it showing on a couple of crosses I have done as well over the years.

I will also back up the mutation shout, I had a Dinafem Critical Cheese do this to me last year. There was no noticeable difference in the yield or quality of smoke with a second plant grown with it.

I’ve seen that in a few strains over the years.
I presumed it to be a genetically induced leaf-mosaic pattern.
Could never find much info on the subject though.
2/5 of my Cookies Kush recently had that also.

I’ve gotton it on the chem 91s, usually that’s the best one to choose in my garden lol I actually use it as a genetic marker. Doesn’t effect yield at all.
And as @LED_Seedz mentioned, its said to be common for the chemd’s but pops up in many stardawg crosses.
