Gato Garnish - Fresh and dried
Planted on a whim, took off all the tall stems last week and hung.
This week it decided to flower, so again same treatment.

Personally think the kitty/nip connection is myth or misrepresented.
Neither of the marmalade menaces were interested at all (laser junkies)

Since the box will be empty during the summer for heat cannabis doesn’t like well…
Am putting the Ginger & Turmeric in there and give them a try.

catnip is a cool plant, good nectar for bees. The times I’ve planted it outside it does get ravaged by the neighborhood cats unless you put a cage around it. I used to grow huges ones indoors and then plant them outside and it would ravaged to the ground within a week or two  I guess I like getting cats high!

Oh the famous bachelor button! Mine aren’t blooming yet but will send pic shortly! That flower hybrid is interesting though!

Not heard the “nickname” but I am new to this plant.

Is this plant also called bachelor button?

According to good ol’ Google, bachelor’s buttons are Centaurea Cyanus so these definitely sound closely related. I wonder if they can interbreed.

I’m almost 100% positive is I’m kinda into the Latin and scientific names of things I guess it might be my weird side showing up! LOL foliage looks different than mine but the flower head is very similar!
