Which tent to buy

I saw you sent a message, my thought is do whatever is in the budget and in your mind. That’s what I’ve always done. And never regretted it.

Finally can respond! So after jumping from multiple sites and quite a few options I went with a 4x4x80 tent from ac. It seems like a good deal and less to look into. Has lights, exhaust, controller, tent, and enough space for the 4-6 plants I will grow. I will probably invest in a blackout tarp as recommended just for insurance. I appreciate all the posts and help. I am taking a lot of liking to this forum. I will be opening a diary thread to keep track and maybe some help as I go. Thank you guys! And the best of luck to your grows!

Can’t wait for your grow thread, have any idea what you will be growing?

Don’t waste your money @Kidcia unless you are using stadium lights in the room the tent is in. Regular room light isn’t going to effect anything.

I’ll give it a first run and see.

So far no. I would like to give new products a fair run. I don’t know where to order them from but would love to get something out of the ordinary and possibly just get a batch of 5-10 seeds. I went to this website following a post about something called candyland and well as a lifetime gamer that calls my attention!

Edit: I decided to go with a random choice plant. First name to catch my eye and it was Gorilla Sherbet F1 FAST Feminised Seeds from Seedsman.com / Sweet Seeds

Navigating the seed market is a steep slope, if you want to discuss ideas of where to find the fire you got the OG community at your disposal or you can hit me up with a PM and I’ll help you out. Most of us here have tried hundreds, if not thousands of different lines.

check out their Gorilla Light lineup of tents. Mine is a 2ft x 2.5ft x 6.7

plus I have the option of adding another 18" to the height with a zup on kit to extend it. I love my tent… I have a cool grow also and there is no comparison between the 2. Gorilla is made so much better from inside to outside.

i’ve heard that some build their own tents :eyes:
guys, u tried?

Gorilla 2x4 owner here. I love my tent, don’t get me wrong. But in hindsight I wish I would have got something a bit more affordable, or something that came in a kit with other hardware. I know AC Infinity makes a really great tent and offers it by itself or as part of a kit. Just make sure you’re checking material thickness before you lock anything in. Some of the tents out there sound great in the description, but might tear if you aren’t careful during setup. There’s a lot of 1-star reviews with people complaining about that. And zippers. OMG the zippers

I’m thinking of repurposing my Rhino 150 hunting blind into a grow tent during off season…

When repurposing a room, do you need to keep reflective designs? I was wondering if I just go get one big light and darken a whole room eventually.

Ac Infinity :infinity:

I wanted to give everyone who recommended ac tents a big Thankyou! I was not expecting the quality of product that came. Packaging was very well done and professional. All products look to be of high quality. And I couldn’t be more impressed. Seeds come in Wednesday and I will start the diary then.
