mine too, I made it happen after the service
vernal, you have made me a very happy man. Keep up the good work brother! This isn’t sarcasm!
holy crap, if anyone is wondering, yah I cried a tear of joy after I read vernal’s post. The glow on that post was so golden I was just like… holy shit, I can’t wait to type in a message agreeing with him!!! KUDOS!
@vernal the story with that health canada statement too was that eagle 20 was used on the mother plant that clones were taken from to flower, and the flower ended up being tested by a partner company who flagged it. So not sprayed in veg or flower, but to a mom theoretically months prior. This is the same instance where tons of people reported feeling sick etc after smoking the bud.
As for the spore exposure in winter, my theory is that it could be on buds being brought in to smoke
I would maybe even do a sulfur burn around the area to double up a bit.
There’s a large amount of commercial greenhouses right by me, potential vector there outside regular summer months. Who knows? If the spores only last a few days at best I’d wonder how dried flower from someone else’s place could bring it in but the source I posted is very old, maybe something more recent can shine a light. Maybe certain species are more generalist or persistent, maybe some people are dealing with downy mildew instead of powdery…IDK…lots of variables to account for.
naw sulfur burn will get it everywhere in your fans motors and the light ballast, I’m definitely 100% in agreement with GrowingHigher on that score. It’s easy to clean up if you sprayed it and it dripped on the floor. But if it gets on your light bulb or inside electronics…ick.
They say it lives and overwinters on fallen leaves from the host. It probably depends on the environment the dead plant material was subjected to, as to whether it could survive long enough to transfer to your place from a sack of weed. Spreads out from the source. You’d have to do a study on it, because I’m not sure one like that exists.
I’ve been fighting PM Issues… Some say its best to cut down Start over:thinking:… I’ve tried spraying them With Lost Coast Plant Therapy not hving the best of luck… sorry for the poor grammar in advance… And to add I’m officially into my octopots they are fantastic so far the new grow is good just feel like I’ve gotten bad clones this go around… open for suggestions… plz an thank you
Crust them in sulfur that you spray on, do it twice two weeks apart you can spray more if you don’t think you got it all.
edit: forgot never spray it on in bloom. or after an oil based application.
For people taking in cuts I would suggest you build a real quarantine chamber instead of a full size tent to limit the space spores can travel to.
Something similar to this would keep pathogens at bay.
Now that’s a great idea!
I was dying to say it was a genius idea, but I wanted someone else to say it first. lol!
The idea is to get it everywhere to kill any spores that might still be around in those places. Not great for the equipment, but better then pm in flower imo
yah, I know, but it’s easy enough to kill without going that far. Trust me, when you go to clean the sulfur up, you don’t want that crap all over everything.
Very nice!
Id rather use an ozone generator. No clean up required.
hey are you going to join the pm infection ptsd support group? I can help.
So even from a cutting it’s not dilute enough to be considered negligible?!
Yah those health canada stories are nuts. People getting popped and having to issue recalls! Now that everyone knows who I am and shit…at least I sure hope so, by now. You have to know these are the things I deal with. The group I call the super best friends do really well having me as a trusted friend at their gatherings. This isn’t ego maniac shit here, I’m helping keep them safe, and they know it. I just wish there were like 1000 of me to go around. Like…everyone reading this thread. If you join with the expert knowledge stored in my mind - you can be just like me and keep your friends safe from having to issue stupid recalls on your crap and cost you millions.
The cartoons I draw are my way of dealing with… tragic shit. They are really funny but at the core they hide the tragedy of human existence.
Look at this cartoon through the lens of who I am, you can see inside the poisoner is suffering.
