Another thing to consider is grow medium and containers.

Once the mold gets a toehold, those spores get everywhere. I recommend disposing of everything you can and between runs, shutting down for two weeks and cleaning thoroughly with bleach at least three times.

mildew is biotrophic, so you don’t have to worry it’s lurking on pots or containers or over in the corner. Once you encrust the plants with sulfur, the mildew is…fuuuuuuuuuuuuucked.

Didn’t know that…

I found this when I had a problem.

Sulfur was the #7 treatment on the list, I never made it that far down.

I will say that use the milk option outside only as I don’t know what’s worse, WPM or the smell of bad milk…

Sorry if this has been repeated or I am off the mark here but I just wanted to chime in quickly… don’t have time at the moment to go back and read too far. I’ve been having PM issues on my last 3 runs. I bought this UVC light from Amazon:

https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07R6QFNDN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

No freakin idea if this is going to work but I ran it inside my tent this week 3 separate times for 30 mins each time and ran the heck out of the room after I switched it on!! In the reviews ppl make this light seem pretty serious. I hope it’s not a scam but it releases this ozone… whatever the F that is and it stinks. Supposed to kill all types of stuff. I’ll get back to you on if it worked or not. Tent smells brand new after I used the lamp though… we’ll see. It was recommended to me by a breeder I follow on IG. Figured he knows some stuff. He recommended a $500 version and I went on Amazon to find a Chinese knock off… meh. Here’s hoping lol.

I forgot to mention that I also invested about $225 in a new tower fan and air purifier with a HEPA filter than I plan to run in my lung room (room that my tent sits in). Hoping that will improve my issue.

milk and garlic both contain sulfur compounds which are hazardous to mildew. I would definitely skip to sulfur. The thing about mildew “outside” is this… It’s probably not even the same mildew species as the one growing on your cannabis plant inside. This guy who sold me a sack of weed told me how to kill the mildew said spray it twice 2 weeks apart in veg and you will never see it again.

balls man! It costs less for a batch of concentrated sulfur, which till terminate the life form forever.

I’ve tried milk. I’ve bleached the crap out of everything… I’ve cleaned cleaned cleaned. I had like 6 fans running in my last run. I made my own Lactic Acid Bacteria foliar and sprayed that 3 times in veg and PM came back with VENGEANCE in wk 7 of flower! I am so sick of this issue… lol kill me.

Many thanks to you, @JoeCrowe and your many posts about using sulfur. I went straight for the sulfur as my first reaction and feel like I might actually be on winning side of this battle in my veg and clone tents!

Now the current flower room, who knows. It appears to be minimalized. If I can last even 3 more weeks with these flower-safe spot treatments and not get anything into the buds then I’ll consider a massive win. But at the same time I’ll be ready to scrap everything in there if need be.

Apparently temps of 35c+(95f) kills it flat.

I grow outdoors so have no control but this is trialed and tested in indoor or greenhouse environments. I only see it outdoors on rare cold snaps here in the tropics so makes sense to me

I also tried this! forgot to mention. We have a Dyson space heater, thing is baller. Anyway I brought it in the tent and cranked it!! 3 separate times for 1-2hrs each time. Still came back. :sob: :sob: :sob: :sob: :sob:

unfortunately those are all bullshit solutions. I mean no offense heh heh even though that is offensive… but! My claims are backed up by multiple university studies at this point.

haha No worries… no offence taken. I don’t know anything… Here to learn! Ok so what do I need? Concentrated sulfur? Where do you buy that? Does it come in a spray bottle? is it a powder? Where do I put it? Clean my tent with it? Spray it on my plants? How do I solve this issue with sulfur?

I had pm once just once most come in on previously infected snips.
The cost of fuckin with clones.

All this stuff from up above give great false hope.
Went the Sulphur route with a liquid I bought can’t remember name smelled of Sulphur, Did not work.

grind up sulfur pellets or get powder or buy concentrated sulfur sludge in a bottle. Mix it with water and spray it on your vegging plants twice 2 weeks apart and mildew is gone forever. Don’t spray on blooming plants.

what was your application protocol?

Would something like this work? Or do I need pellets like this?
Thanks!!!

It is for this reason I only want clones I give away to go outdoors.

Either of those will work, you have to measure it by the tablespoon the pellets will probably dissolve but you can grind them up. I used safers concentrated sulfur. I think they recommend a tablespoon per liter or 4 per gallon of “high yield” powder.
