I do but for cigarettes only. For weed I prefer regular butane ones
I have a couple to send to the Bradford to repair my wicks cuz I’ve always tried to do by myself and always messed up with the core. But I do love them and still use
Are these kits “universal”? You guys repair your own?
Oh my gosh, I have 2 of those. they work great.
Wow what are those?
Hand warmers that you use naphtha “zippo” fluid in.
I feel like I just saw @MoBilly
I’ve been fascinated with zippos since I was a kid!
This is my nice shiny blue chrome with the dual jet insert. My favorite one!
Wow. 10 hours for battery ones is really impressive. cool!
Yeah, that’s the claim anyway. I have to say I have not let it run that long. Nice Zippo. I still like the old inserts. Something about hearing the flame blowing in the wind as opposed to hearing a torch.
I have a brass WWII Zippo somewhere. I’ll see if I can find it. I’d love to post a photo.
I’ve had a few over my life, nowadays I carry one mostly as a backup fire source in the outdoors but they’re fun to light a hemp wick with. I can’t do the flavor of them in a joint or cigarette anymore though. A trick or two someone showed me many years ago to keep the fluid from evaporating as fast was to put a little petroleum jelly on the insert to seal it up when it’s in the case, and to slide a piece of bicycle inner tube over the cap so it just barely overlaps the bottom of the case. Those two things make a big difference for me in the pocket stink and fuel evaporating off.
I want to try both of these along with the butane or plasma inserts too:
Supposedly the Zippo killer, looks pretty awesome:
FUCK YEAH!
I have a brass one from 1986 I carry around. I’m still looking for a brass one marked 1981 if anyone finds one!
