I’d have to say the most bubbles in one place was at a college party… we filled the dishwasher with dawn soap.
Usually just weekends for me mind you i did some off the balcony this morning just as i was playing with juice recipes yesterday haven’t seen the iridescent bubble juice though.
We ran into it at the dollar store. They sell 2 gallons for a buck lol
It’s a ton of fun. I’ll never get tired of the simple things.
Next time im out ill try and get some shots of the bigger ones.
Would love to see them!!! Very cool
just sold my beamer 4 power kite and harness that sucker could pick me and my kite board off the ground ina 15 mph wind and i was 18 stone
loved that thing i’ll see if ive got any picks
Sounds awesome man!
No pics, but I love to fly kites with my 16 month old daughter.
Started with some $5 mini plastic/Mylar kites (6”x6”) from big5, she had fun with them so we upgraded to some bigger and better flying $7 kites from target, maybe 18-24” wingspan. I think the current one is “Jurassic Park” themed, with a velociraptor on it.
Who’s high as a kite?
I um…wait, what?
That’s awesome, my young one loves them too. Has a blast flying them. Bubbles are a big one too…lol
I grew up flying the old diamond shaped paper and balsa wood kites. I still have memories about a lot.
Our thing in our neighborhood was to see show many rolls of line you used to could get the kite as high as possible without breaking the line.
I found a tiny little kite made from plastic, on a tiny island in the lake I fish in, a week or so ago. I was going to give it to my next door neighbor to give to his son who visits every couple of weeks. But, a small part of me wants to launch it myself to see if I still can fly one.
I’d love to have a few kites like the one had when I was young.
Those sound like great memories. Very cool, that sounds like you have a kite to try out! Also that’s sounds like it was good fun, tying spools of kite string together lol. Nice.
I have a lite air kite I haven’t used in years. Had a pretty good stunt kite for medium air but after years, it finally broke. I was just getting where I could do a few tricks and fly squares ansd figure 8’s. Fly a feet or two off the sand and let dogs think they can catch it before doing 90 degree straight up. Take a toke or two, and fly across the sun setting nylon aglow. Kripes! Now i want to get another kite.
It’s so much fun, I like to see how many times I can get it to spin say 3 times full around, then back to untangle the line. I like chasing the ground to or hovering the kite inches off the sand,… only to pick it up and have it go straight up… so much fun. I can’t wait to fly some time soon.
Unfortunately, where I am we’re getting 10 - 20 MPH winds with stronger gusts. Looking for a dual line stunt kite to fly in these winds.
The one I pictured above handles up to 30 I believe. Something like that? @EpiKatz
30MPH!!! Hope you have strong line and rocks in your pockets! LOL!!!
It’s never that harsh were we go… lol but it gets to where the foils can pick you up. It’s fun. I’ve always wanted to get a off-road skateboard and have the kite pull me down the beach.
WoW! I just went to the garage and pulled out my two old and forgotten kites. The HQ Classic is broken, rats ate part of the Prism case, but the lite air Prism kite is cool! My line is pretty old, so I’ll get some new line and I’m heading to the beach soon as the wind gets below12 MPH to see if i still have the touch. So glad i found this page and you Paws to get me going on the kites again.
