can anyone recommend a good laptop hard drive?
I got a new hard drive at the beginning of covid, but there were major supply shortages of computer components at that time.
Are there still supply shortages impacting computer components?
I’m looking for a quick rpm speed hard drive larger than 1tb.
I like to play rpgs and first person shooters like cod. Black ops was by far the best I think. Im on a binge of playing some good ol wow. Need to replace all fans on pc cause it’s overheating and needs a re vamp since its build. I was really awesome made it up there with some good players on halo and halo 2. Those days were fun until all the modding ruined it, as well as made it insanely fun… One of my favorites besides doom and Duke nukem was omikron the nomad soul. Games are fun
I need to go thru my titles and ay some of the games (Witcher 2) that are good. Oh, and The Last of us. Love gran tourismo too. Remember jamming out to Garbage (the band) while the game played. Good memories
… this came out about when I started driving actual cars & was A NECESSITY! Got the game & PS as a birthday gift from friends; at that age it was a genuine surprise.
i’m stillllllll playing Civ3 & solitaire when I’m 1/2 conscious.
I’m on PC, that platform seems to be the cleanest.
I’ve gotten ‘hung up’ on a few things. Most of them I got sorted out last night. The feel and flow of the city is amazing, fast travel is a little ‘kludgy’ but overall I quite like it!
Definitely going to be the new favorite for quite a while.
Maybe its just nostalgia and friends and being young. But nothing will ever beat LAN parties and gaming for 2 days straight.
I made the mistake of going straight to work after one where I was up for 42hrs. Consumed 2 12pks of coca cola and 6 12packs jolt gum…
People at work were like “you look like shit…did you not sleep last night?” And all I could get out was or the night before.
I was pale, sweaty, felt nauseous and was having heart palpitations. Pretty sure I was having a caffeine overdose.
My gaming progression began with OG nintendo, then SNES then Playstation. My friend had the Sega Genesis, N64, Gamecube. Countless hours playing Madden and Goldeneye on N64
Then in 2001 I got into PC gaming. Started with Team Fortress Classic, then Counter Strike 1.5 and 1.6 with the Valve/Steam merger. Then World of Warcraft from 2004 to 2012.
Dont game much anymore. Have a switch collecting dust. I play Team Fortress Classic still. There are a few active servers and solid community.
