Why Does Mexican Brick Weed Never Get Any Better?

There’s def some dank being grown in Jamaica by the locals. I took these in 07’ at Orange Hill, near Negril.

5-10 years ago, Was there any police research or analysis, I don’t know
But they tested the ‘‘drugs’’ they captured from several states and localities, and the average THC test varied between 2% to 3% here and the most potent ones were 10% if I’m not mistaken of the numbers, in my country.

Great pics! I know Negril – lots of beaches around there. I got weed from the other side of the island, by the blue mountains.

When down in Iquitos Peru I scored some local Schwag and it was decent. Had seeds but otherwise was dense buds and actually smelled somewhat decent.
The high was great, hearing became vivid as well as vision.
Unfortunately also had anxiety from the raciness of the buds.
Saving seeds to bring back, but my paranoid pot head aunt threw them away before I had a chance to stash them. She was certain we’d get caught :man_shrugging::man_shrugging::man_shrugging:

yes that is the best place to score weed in Jamaica - and coffee! I bought 100 pounds of coffee at $4/lb when I was there awhile ago from a coffee roaster in the town Section, Jamaica in the Blue Mountains. US citizens are allowed to bring in 100 pounds of coffee to the US with no import duty, though that may have changed in recent administrations.

when I was in Jamaica all of the rastas that I met went on and on about American weed and how great it was, and asked if I had any seeds for them

Whatever my opinion is worth I can vouch for that. I’ve made that trip and spent some time and I’ve been chasing THAT ever since. :joy:

Some of the most legendary strains of all time came from Mexico. Acapulco Gold, Oaxaca, Guerrero… The reason brick weed hasn’t changed in the thirty years you’ve been smoking is because it’s just that: brick weed. No matter what genetics a grower starts with, if it’s processed the way brick weed is processed, it’s gonna suck.

You can thank the cocaine trade for the disappearance of pretty much any good imported weed. And I don’t blame them. “Let’s see… I can sell a kilo of weed wholesale for $500 or a kilo of cocaine for $50,000… Hmm, which should I do…?” Take into account that a ton of cocaine is probably one-tenth the size of a ton of weed, which means importing it is not only easier, but requires less gas, more can be shipped at once etc etc and it only makes sense that dealers would opt to deal with blow instead of weed.

LOL-

It just depends on who you know, when it comes to Mexican drugs

I’m in AZ

Locally, we had excellent brick weed, and somewhat clean cocaine…

Then “El Chapo” got busted-

And shit dried up, for us, for a while…

These days, the weed is garbage, the coke is trash, but word is, the tar is most excellent???

When I was in El Salvador I bought some weed from the local gang where I was staying. They had brick but one kid showed me some better stuff for slightly more money. It was limier green. The standard was brown, shit weed though. Super fucking harsh and hurt the throat. They use industrial pesticides down there on most crops because of crazy tropical pests so fuck knows how they treat their illegally grown weed if there is a pest problem, never mind mould, ecoli or any other nasty that happens to hitch a lift.

I actually noticed a big improvement (talking Mexican brick) over the years-

That’s why I started saving the seeds…

Evil minds and evil intentions will bring evil down on them. Money is a fleeting power and brings with it what is put into it. I hate hard drugs and shitty brick weed and thanks for the unfortunate info. Cartels really do suck.
