Will trade seeds for random acts of kindness to strangers

A lady’s card got declined 3 times at the grocery store. I told the clerk to add my stuff with here’s and I’ll pay for the tab. She worked at a restaurant and told me to come by some time. I told her it’s ok just pay it forward one day! Spread some love in the world.

I was in my place of business talking with an employee when I heard the most awful screams and wails that seemed to be coming from the hallway outside my business. As they got louder and more worrisome I started investigating and found a young man curled up in the corner of rarely used corridor in the building. It’s not uncommon to have homeless folks hide out in the hallways of the building from time to time trying to get warm or clean up in the bathrooms. He was crying is eyes out and screaming and wailing like he was hurt. I asked him if he was ok and he said he was ok but he continued to cry. I asked him if I could help in any way and let him know that despite him scaring my customers I want to help him out. He said no and wasn’t interested in talking much more. So I went back to my shop to look for food/drinks I could offer him. Gathered up some bottles of water and snickers bars and boy did that change his demeanor instantly! He stopped crying, housed the snickers and water bottle and went on his way. A few days later he was in the building again with a mentally unstable friend, but this time he was more put together and smiled when I recogonized him. He then proceeded to help me deal with his friend who was in my space messing with customers and trying to steal weird things like “all my red writing pens”. I really think that had I not had a positive experience with him in the past his buddy would have been a BIG PROBLEM for me as his buddy wanted to “fight me” when I asked him to please only take one pen and leave the rest.

I save 2 people on fentanyl, it was the worse thing I ever witnessed in life.
When Covid 19 happen I had to chase them all over the place, China already had me in a war zone, Covid 19 was just another mountain I had to climb over to win the battle of 6 years till I won.

I used Cannabis successfully to ease withdraws from them both, they both were on the needle, only 15% make it after the needle fentanyl addiction.

Thank you God for helping me win against the 1000s of demons who stood in my way to victory. :100::dove:

I started picking up an extra dog poop for everyone my dog makes.

Nothing infuriated me more than stepping in dog shit while walking on a sidewalk :joy:

I also yelled to a girl who nearly stepped on a gopher snake while it was sun bathing. She wasn’t paying attention and the snake was cold and not moving.

Based on her reaction I may have prevented a heart attack for her and a broken vertebrae for the snake

Was walking home in the middle of a blustery crap winter day after a later shift at a restaurant and a guy who was down on his luck was laying in the snow bank off the side of the road. After some communicating figured out he had been there a while and was unable to move, I called and waited for an ambulance to arrive. Then I continued my walk home.

I’m still awaiting the owner of the little guy that was wondering around the neighborhood yesterday and fortunately in Colorado I only got a few inches of snow but it’s been in single digits and with wind-chill it’s 2°f and I’ve taken the dog in and I got a phone number and called the owner who was stuck on the hill I live in so while trying to get her car outta the snow her little dude Harley got outta the car and she was just sounding destroyed and it’s just a great feeling to know that her doggy would of been looking at the worst , right time right place and even though I have 2 dogs I’m going to be returning Harley to his Mom this afternoon and I just couldn’t let it go knowing what the weather is like thanks for doing this The Doc

The company I work for is huge on helping others. When they give us a bonus there is usually a little extra included to spend as you see fit to improve your community. When gas prices went up, everyone received a $250 gas card, plus another card worth $50 to give away. Pretty cool concept!

At my department’s weekly meeting we draw someone’s name who receives $50. They give it away as they see fit, then report at the next week’s meeting what they did. It’s usually a big tip at a restaurant or coffeeshop, dropping it in the drive thru line to cover folks behind you, donating to charity, or knowing someone in need.

This company is a really awesome place to work. We made Fortune magazine’s Best Places to Work list the last few years. We just got a new employee benefit added last month when recreational marijuana went into effect: 10% discount at one of the local dispensary chains!

Reading all these really doesn’t surprise me. The way this community works with everyone so they can have a great and informative experience. The amount of generousity on this site makes me believe that it carrys into the real world for most people. Overgrow :+1:

I mean, you didn’t have to but if you’re offering…

You all are awesome, I know the people of our community are generally good so I wasn’t surprised at the responses.

I couldn’t limit it to 5. If I could I’d give you all everything but some of these are a little limited til next fall.

The boss helped read these because I’m so indecisive and she liked:

I give away about half of my weed that I grow, mostly to the homeless, both local folks and when I’m traveling around. Today I met a guy in New Haven who looked like he had a blunt put out while he was working the traffic at an on ramp light with his sign, so I stopped and talked to him, gave him a couple grams of bud and some protein bars and $2. Turns out it was just a cigar because he can’t afford weed, so I told him to roll up a fatty for me and enjoy it whenever he was done for the day. In general, I probably spend about 5-10% of my income on giving away money and essentials to the homeless, I’ve never lost my housing but I’ve come close a few times and it’s the worst damn thing. I like keeping my head stash and giving away the rest, I know my sugar trim and larfy buds still hit just fine especially without a growers tolerance, and it keeps me from making a bunch of hash and wrecking my tolerance even more!

@Gonzo heck yeah brother! I figure it’s a smoke, a snack, and a buck or two to get an Arizona or a coffee or something with it, right? Sometimes I carry papers or lighters too but it’s the food that matters, and water in the summer.

That’s amazing @Rippleseeds and huge thanks to @FirstCavApache64 for the mention. What are the chances of passing these on to @G-paS , she is a really awesome person who selflessly does many things for so many. Is that possible?
