Did you say what kind of freakshow plants those are?

I didn’t, because I don’t know, haha

I wanna say he mentioned something about Humboldt seeds, but I don’t know. I’ll be hearing from him sometime soon, I should ask. I know he said this was the one out of the room with the biggest nose.

Lots of bright green eucalyptus or lemon verbena or something, a sour apple jolly rancher thing with a spruce or juniper note to it, all sort of underlined by a berry bubblegum. Super sticky. Very pronounced terps that carry well through the dry , the berry/juniper thing lingers on your fingers after breaking up the buds

Incredibly long petioles on the negans bat, so long and curious that bigger shade leaves turned completely upside down to catch reflections off the duct, lol

Defoliation is in order.

I did a thing on the negans bat, she’s got dank rubber in her stems, early flowers smell vaguely sweet and green, the funk is in the stems right now, and it’s real george Clinton funk…

Freakshow bringing the evergreen currently.

I’ve never defoliated so hard before (i reckon what i did was a pussy foot schwazz, haha, with the timing, i have a hard time plucking leaves, especially when they were spot on healthy. Im still rocking the top leaves with lights on full blast), I hope it results in some um, er,…bats. lol

Also I love the freakshow leaf trichs and alien brain curly pistils

If anybody is interested in this cut, I’m interested in learning how to ship a clone. Or local pick up? My grow buddy has a house full of clones in line for flowering, and I can’t convince him to take one in. He likes the rock hard golf balls and higher yield types, so I’m really curious how this one would do in other people gardens.

Yeah buddy, it’s my solo cup challenge freakshow clone entry

I’m going to try and quantify some k8nd of hash yield with one of them, I’ve washed her before but didn’t weigh anything. The flower weight will be extraordinarily low given bud structure, which might make the hash yeild look big, I think

In the end, factoring in time spent growing buds that don’t weigh much might be a better metric than starting product weight. Either way, I owe my buddy a little hash from a trade, so I’m going to give her a whirl.

@JoeCrowe any thoughts on this? My new phone camera sucks, so any kind of useful trich shots might not be possible.

Do you have an opinion on strains that throw trichs on fans? Or maybe sativa vs indica washing thoughts?

I think I know what you’ll say, as a purist, and you’re right, leaf trichomes age and rupture earlier, so inherently, I’d be collecting a random assortment of stuff, and for true grade A I’d be missing the point of purity by using leaf material as starting material…dang it I hate it when you’re right haha

If you could get a clear photo of an auxiliary calyx, I can estimate the yield.

Everything made it ok while I was gone. It’s good to be back. Negans bat has some little purple spikes poking through the hairs. I spotted a leaf bud on a freakshow. Everything smells divine
