secretion engineer extraordinaire he is
im familiar with the way that seedy conversation went
alot of stolen genetics with no respect to the breeder seems to be the new norm unfortunately
all the hard work to make it what it is and its stolen
like you said another story… with bad vibes
$$$ and greed has a way of doing that to a harmless landrace strain
tis the path to the dark side
anyone see my friend in the usa tell x18 im looking for her please
Got some X18 popping from Tom Hill. Got ‘em a couple month back as freebies from him when I ordered the mendo docs og. Sent 23 beans, soaked 11…Looking like I’ll get most of these to pop, 5 breaking the surface so far and most of them have popped just below the soil, soaked in water for a day and then straight to soil. Was going to add some Gibberellic acid to the soak but didn’t, they seem to be doing really well for old stick. I may bust out the rest and do a reproduction to preserve these with a few more in the mix, need to see how the space conundrum sways me.
Good grow and repro/selection luck to you @GreenHighland!
Last Winter i also did pure repro but of Reserva Privada, with parallel Deep Chunk and Jamaican Lambsbread crosses btw. My preservation is from just one pack but very nice lucky selection operated, as always i think to have improve this line into different fruity bubblegum range (orangey, clementine, apricot) compared to apple/pear ones that i know they are usually less good in terms of effects and potency. I know and work X18 since years so, double Pakistan landrace cross with Mriko’s Yarkhun import with Tom Hill’s originals that i selected berry pheno years ago too. So not easy to select X18 better specimens of TH’s, logical process of his large openpoll without selection, i think it’s quite comparable to his haze and its something like 10% or 5% superior hard to find. But from Reserva Privada’s i found the logical better frequence of what i think is better quality, i mean fruity and bubblegum and not apple/pear/vegetable that i found to have less positive high in the head, more boring and direct sedative without fly i mean.
Hey @Barefrog do you confirm my feelings with it ? Have you harvested your X18 that i reproduced last year what do you think ?
Ok thanks i didn’t know that Raco was its reproducer, so with the same full openpoll of Tom Hill’s practice i guess, that’s why this line became so diminished and hard to select good i think!
Just going into the jar. This pheno is now smelling like pinesol, cedar and sour Body odour, like onions. Almost hazey and skunky, very loud.! The sweet smell of pear has completely disappeared on this one.
