Yellowing New Growth?

Ok, what I would do is grab a bottle of the ph7 calibration fluid (“reference solution”) and check your meter. The instructions to check and if need be calibrate the meter are included with the meter.
I buy the huge bottle of reference solution because it is way cheaper per oz that way, but the smaller bottle will get you calibrated and keep you going for a while. Put just enough to cover the probe in the smallest size ball jar, or any small resealable glass container, and as long as you rinse the meter in distilled water before you place it in the fluid it will stay clean and can be reused for a while. Just don’t use it then pour it back into the bottle it came in.

Grow it Green is a good hydro store, but like anywhere the service depends on who is working that day. There are a couple of really good employees there, the only one I can remember goes by “Pickles”. They have a had a couple of complete meatballs roll through over the years as well though.

Any chance of pics of the other plants, just for comparison?

I can tell you it’s not sunburn. I almost always burn them when I put them outside because I can’t be bothered to harden them off and it doesn’t look like that.

Also, if you have any question at all about meter calibration, and I mean at all, I’d suggest buying some pH drops just to use as a reference. They are cheap and never wrong :+1:

I think he’s gone. Heard a couple guys talking about it a few days ago.

I usually deal with the owner. Or the large gentleman that works there. Not sure of his name.

The owner knows a few members of my family, and friends of my family as well. So he’s usually the one I’m talking to. Also, I have that pH adjusting liquid. Brings your meter to 7 and then you start over checking your water.

Is he gone? Shows how often I go in there haha.

The only time I dealt with the owner I showed up at his opening time on a Sunday morning, he seemed really surprised, I don’t think he was used to early risers haha.

Edit: at the risk of asking a dumb question, have you run this issue by the guys at the shop? Getting your brain picked in person might get your more accurate results… just food for thought. :+1:

Too small on the planter hun…she may be rootbound!
Figure the number of GALLONS per pot is how big the plant can get in feet without overcrowding the roots… in half a gallon, she may be small- but her roots need room to keep growing…so after about 10 inches, she needs more room…
That, and the soil you used is heavy on nutes- not what babies need…the manufacturer even states ‘heavy feed up-front’… the opposite of what cannabis likes…
Next grow- use seed starter 1st in solo cups, then transfer those to at least 2 gallon planters when about 6’’, and maybe ‘‘cut’’ the soil with 1/4 seed starter…
You can probably ‘fix’ these with a transplant to a 2 gallon planter with a mix of your soil and seed starter…it’s on clearance in a lot of places now that it is fall!

Yellow brown purple, why so worried about color, the shape says it all. You guys should start converting your photos to black and white and try to notice how bad the leaves look that way.

An entire generation of pot growers who think self topping seedlings are cool. Can’t help these kids. More CaCO3+mg(NO₃)₂

Will Calcium Carbonate and Magnesium Nitrate help to dissolve the Calcium excess that blocks Boron? icon_e_confused|nullxnull

If you don’t mind a question from a relative newbie @toastyjakes , I’m glad I saw this I was just about to move three auto’s outside to make room under my lights. How should I introduce my girls (remember, auto’s if that matters) to natural light? They are barely in week two.
Thanks for any advice you might give in advance. lol

Just kinda gradually bring them into it… a couple hours of good light to start for a few days then see how they go adding more from there

I feel like autos could go full blown however the hell you do it though, the may not mind a less than gradual transition especially if they’re smaller

Yeah. They’re about 1.5 ft tall so I would think they are not too tall. I’ll take your advice. I figured auto’s might be more accepting to the change but I’m glad I got your input.
Thanks.
I didn’t word that correctly:

I forgot to add that that is two weeks into flower.
