Thanks man. Yeah I’m happy with it. It feels more rewarding to smoke your own for sure. Being hot as hell right now in texas I was having some issues with res temps and started seeing the beginning of root rot already. Treated it and now I’m not seeing it now but we will see. It’s hard to control temps this time of year but I got it under control for now but hell you know in New Mexico just like here july and august are a bitch!! Good luck with your plants man. Bummer you had to change up your situation

@Joboo kudos to you doing hydro! Crazy to see how fast the plants react to growth from nutrients in hydro setups. Glad you got a handle on that root rot before it did anything bad.
And yes!!! NM got that dry heat. It’s tough. Good for outside growing here actually. I got faith the plants will respond to their new environment with ease and will continue to grow into healthy plant. At least that’s my ideal outlook lol
Either way, looking forward to moving soon! Just hoping that the ideal place comes across my way.

I have wondered the same too 
I was told and from what I have read so far that indeed genetics play a role in the size of the plant during veg. Read some varieties are very slow in Seedling and Vegetative but once they get going, they grow like any other plant just might not be as big, but sometimes we after quality and not quantity, right??

I was referring to Hawiian Haze. It is the stuff I found some seeds in. Nice functioning high for me and still relaxing.

Update
2 plants have made it so far.
Situation got tense regarding growing so a friend has them in his care. All they are getting is water because the soil has a living soil amendment added. They ended up in 2gal pots and so far they look happy and ready to flower!!! First two pics are plant 1 remaining pics are plant 2
