Hi Y’all! Missing you guys. Been puffing on my new strains. A lot of differences in the cure from my fresh dry tests. Where do I start? lol Mind you, when I pull weed out, I roll a bunch of joints at once, so I puff on one strain anywhere from 2 days to a week straight depending.

I’ve been reviewing some of my cured weed below and right in the middle I had to come back and write this preface… lol My novel. What do you expect? It’s me! :joy: Anyways, I need to start by talking about the term strong. It is relative and keep in mind I am a veteran smoker. My shit however is really fucking strong! All of them! Well the ones that were in the ground. I swear to dog, my soil is intense and the difference between my 2 container plants bud strength and the ground bud strength is probably exponential. Most of my ground grown strains all make me too high at times. All except for the 3 that were pulled prematurely… GDP, Blue Dream and Blue Gelato 41. Those are a bit more chill in the high factor, but they are still stony af. This is a good thing as some days I want to be so high that I can’t see straight and other days I just want a chill functional high.

Let’s see ummm… Spectral Tangerine x Stardawg - It gets me high af. Too high to post while I test. lol It leans heavy on the og side. Difficult to describe this one, but to say if you’ve smoked an OG strain. It’s like that. Admittedly, I won’t put this strain on the top of my list nor on the bottom. It’s not standing out too much in the strains I grew this year. No longer smells like curry. More OG taste (chemical like) slightly herbal slightly fruity tangerine peel bottom note. It doesn’t stand out much, but if I want to get really high, I’ll go to it. If I wanted to show off how strong my homegrown is to someone, I’d give them this too. It’s extremely psychotropic. Dimensional. :alien:

Cackleberry- Puffed on this for about 4 days recently. I just don’t think I ended up with the best pheno representative of this strain. The chance you take outdoor growing f2’s when you can’t pheno hunt. I was so excited to grow this one out. Had ideas of grandeur I guess. Smells like a cookie fully cured, not much flavor or smell, lackluster. Fairly disappointing except for the fairly unique high this one has. It has a heavy floaty element to it, reminds me of smoking a CBD 1:1 except it gets you high. That same floaty feeling x 100. Kinda fun, but nothing to write home about at this moment. I feel like it needs more examination by me. May need to smoke this one more to develop a greater appreciation of it. It’s being overshadowed by the louder more magnificent strains I grew this year. Same with the Spectral Tangerine. They just got kind of swallowed up by the others.

Went off on a bender with my Cheese recently. The cured bud is just Nasty AF. I mean that in the best possible way. It’s just a loud and in your face strain. It’s bold in it’s stinky nasty feet cheese/road kill bottom note and with the obnoxious top note of overripe dark fruit it’s pure old skool dank nasty funk. I get crazy nostalgia from it, especially how I remember it back in the day, grown outside. It’s like smoking a piece of my past. Smoking it now, decades later, I can see how this can easily be a love it or hate it strain. To me, this kinda nasty funk was synonymous with Humboldt and the only dankness that existed back then. So, this nasty loud tasting strain is pretty ultimate for me in flavor. I love it. It’s super strong though and I can easily be too high on it at times. It’s fire.

The last 2 nights I’m smoking some premature cured Orange Goji. A few pieces of colas I saved when I was cutting out bud rot. It’s delightful. The racy, wakey wakey high is not present in this particular batch. It’s quite social, uplifting and delightful in high. While still extremely flavorful, it has mellowed a bit in cure. More like blended together, I guess. Takes on a more floral herbal taste now. Still Skunk 1 on Steroids though. Citrusy, skunky. I dig it.

I haven’t gotten back to a few other cured strains yet. The Skunk 1 and the Blue Dream off the top of my head. I’ll report back on those.

Hope you guys are good and wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! It’s personally one of my favorites as I really love food and practicing gratitude. Works for me!

This is my best way to describe the Spectral Tangerine… Another dimension

Who kindly gifted me panama garlic haze? I keep thinking about this strain, especially after our whole discussion on garlic and onion like strains. I’ve been meaning to look this strain up. For some reason I feel that it’s gonna be a long flowering plant. I think I’m gonna try and grow one out next year.

May I kindly request pics next time you roll? It’d be nice to see a cured nug and how it looks broken/ground up? You know, for scientific purposes.

Happy Thanksgiving @Meesh and company. I feel ya on the gratitude vibe. It’s the key to a good life. I’ll be sitting it out this year because of the virus. I hope we all get vaccinated really fast once it happens. I’m gonna do some marathon hugging. I’mma hug everyone! I love visiting your thread. I’m in more of a reading mode than posting mode lately. I’m getting so many things done on this house and property that I’m getting excited again. We’ve been in a nice long Indian summer this year. Last two years winter started way early and lasted a long damn time. peace

Yes! Monkeyman! I feel like an asshole for spacing out! In reality I’m just a stoner though. These really piqued my interest instantly. I think the garden seed packaging is just cute as hell too! (tee hee! Im such a chick). Have you grown any out @SmknCanuck?

@BarefootAndBlazed Yes! and damn the orange goji joint I just rolled would have made the perfect pic. Had just cleaned my fancy tray off and everything! lol Next time.

@GMan good for you on the nice weather and getting so many projects done. Now that I’m ready to get back to my garden, the dang work starts piling in. I’m envious. I’m cooking a turkey and a really simple thanksgiving for just me and the 2 men. This may be Jezebel’s last Turkey day, so she’ll get both drumsticks of course. Hope you cook yourself a nice meal at least.

@Howard.Crane Thought of you because I just cleaned off my rolling tray. Trashed about an 1/8th easy just because it was all mixed together and I couldn’t tell which strain was which. :joy: Right after I did it I thought “You spoiled, spoiled little bitch”. Boy, do times change.

I need to do a new inventory list of my seeds, so I can really research what I have. Just want to pick the right strains for next year in case of crazy humidity problems like this year. There are 3 so far that are rolling around in my brain as must grows. Isn’t it weird how personal our grows are and which strains we choose? Anyway, the Maui Wowie is an absolute. That will happen. Believe it or not a Bruce Banger. In a million years, I would never have guessed how much I would dig the practice plant. It was only in the 10 gallon pot though, so I don’t have nearly as much of it as I’d like. I think it will be an easier plant in the ground too. It was a really heavy feeder. Def, growing out one of @SamwellBB strains. I want to look through again. @Sunvalley recommended some that would grow well for me here. I’m bad with names and would probably slaughter them right now. This is why I need a new inventory list. lol

I’m thinking of still growing some indica plants though, but they will be small containers only. If they rot, won’t be so bad, but less chances with smaller buds on a smaller plant. More than likely more GDP. I just like it. The one I grew this year is nice and mellow sleepy bud.

@Meesh i have been saving mine to start in mid March and move outdoors in May as i want to let them grow to there full potential.I also planned to take some cuttings and flower them in the tent 2wks after rooting to get a bit of it to smoke.

Nothing wrong with being a stoner chic lol i did a quick dry of a bud of Sebrings MWCB and for the last 2 hours i have been in a giddy euphoric my mind has gone a million miles away from my body high. And when i come back to earth i laugh and go i am high af lol

More ‘narcotic’ is the OG than tropical :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: but yeah. Clicks with the terps/flavors you describe.

:cherries: I think that’s the cherry-fruity terpene/flavor profile. Seems like all the cherry strains are like this-- happy-sleepy but not thud-heavy…

:cheese:  I love skunk but HATE UK Cheese! YUCK! It’s the anti- :skunk: meant to disguise. :unamused: That’s not Pepe Le Pyew, that’s just Pyoo…

And this also sounds right; I think the citrus is the ‘up’ factor there. Think Cali-O, etc… :tangerine:

:man_shrugging:

:evergreen_tree: I think

@cannabissequoia I didn’t get any of the narcotic effects of the kush in the specral tangerine. It could be just when I harvested. Mostly intense head high.

@monkeyman Uh Oh! That wasn’t you? Are you irked? I think that would piss me off. Especially if I gifted them.

No, that isn’t me selling those. People can do whatever they want with the seeds that I gift to them, once they are out of my hands I really have no say over where they land after that. I was just surprised to see it, but I guess I shouldn’t be that surprised.

@monkeyman i was shocked to see it on strainly.Saw it was listed for $40 and was feeling special that you gifted me a pack.I for one could and never would sell seeds someone was kind enough to share with me…Lol at $40 a pack you may wanna list your own batch @ $30/pack and cash in.

I don’t see people racing to buy them lol, and they are only worth what someone will pay for them. It’s like the guy who traded his $1 million dollar dog for two $500,000 cats. I am glad they have a good perceived value - probably will fetch more than if I had just stuck them in a coin flip and scrawled the info on it lol. I am glad that you and others appreciate them, and I hope that they bring you many good times

See I’m the opposite. I gave a whole bunch of my bud to a friend then he told me he sold some. That honestly pissed me off as I am very insistent that what I grow is to be shared and not sold. I never gave him anymore green gifts after that. It just seems so greedy to me.

@BarefootAndBlazed it’s kinda dark and cave like in my house and with camera phone not sure it’s captured really well, but your wish is my command.

The Orange Goji is my stickiest strain. It’s super dense and really squishes together. The joints come out super dense and tightly packed, but they actually burn and hit like a dream. I worried they wouldn’t smoke the first time I rolled it.

It’s a pita to grind cuz it’s so sticky
