My 2nd attempt on those orange gojis was successful. They are up! I’m Pretty sure now that I had a few crushed seeds. I’m actually really stoked on my germ rates this year. It’s been a year since I’ve seen my own plants grow from seed. It feels exciting again

@ReikoX or other organic friends out there. Do you feed your seedlings anything special for optimum root building? Or should my kelp do the magic at this early stage?

Less is more - just the kelp, they will tell you.

Yep, just the kelp for now should do. Maybe some mycos during transplant.

IIRCC phosphorus can aid in root development In early veg but I think you’ll be alright from what ya have currently. Looking good @Meesh

Any brand you recommend for mycos @ReikoX ?

Mostly, I just am trying to keep the healthiest plants I can for the time when they will not be in the amended ground. Still trying to figure the best way to feed them organically until then. I’ll probably simply go the liquid fish and kelp route until then.

I have to say, I can not wait to experiment on the Bruce Banger. Pruning is my goal this year! I want to be on my way to mastering the art. I’ve been such a chicken shit pruner in general. I want to try super cropping and really getting in there and seeing what plants can take. I see you guys using lst etc… and I’m such a chicken. This is going to end. I’ve already been readily pruning the shit out of my other garden plants and flowers and am having good results practicing on them. It may sound silly, but honing this skill means a lot to me.

I don’t have bins. The wigglers roam freely through, well, everything. I even find them in my container plants on their own.

Are they thee Orange Goji from me or Jet?

I’m with you on the chives, I have tried growing them alot over the years but never any success.

I’m getting excited to see all the seedlings of yours planted in the big patch you have worked so hard on.

These are pretty much ready for 1st transplant but I may not have enough organic soil for them all at the moment. I’ll have to get down to my local hydro store this week

I don’t remember them growing this fast! lol The fem Cheese is HUGE! She is gonna be a big girl. The 1st one out of the shell and the hardiest. The 3 cackleberrys are a close 2nd. The third set of tiny little leaves look purple on the GDP. I didn’t realize the leaves would be colorful in veg. We’ll see how they end up. I use big 4" starters too and all but the later Orange Gojis are spanning the pots already. It’s been about 12 days. Actually thinking back to last year, that sounds about right. I’m lagging as I can’t get my soil until Wed, but they’ll be fine. I’ve been germinating so many itty bitty flower seeds lately, I forgot how big and fast cannabis is comparatively. I’m feeling pretty confident right now about my grow, which is crazy as the earth has a lot of curve balls that it’s gonna throw at me in the next 6 months. Here’s where you indoor folk have an advantage, you can do 2 grows during just my 1. Less time for shit to go south. lol But, I guess you won’t get to grow big trees either.

Well, I’ve got about 18 transplants to do and a cal/mag drench. It’s a good day for it, pretty overcast. Babies have really overgrown their pots

My local hydro store weren’t letting anyone in yesterday, but took orders at the door. They were giving everyone a 45% discount! I was stoked! Bought 6 bags of my organic super soil for like 11 bucks each!
