2020 Cannabis with Meesh

It is funny how that goes. I have burned through most of my stash. Still have some left, but still had to see my friend recently. It is like will this grow every finish…lol. I have added some autos to finish about the same time just so I am not as rushed for my next grow.

I can understand how your buddy felt. When I got back into smoking for health reasons. I wouldn’t throw anything away. I was so use to the 70’s and 80’s where quality smoke was not everywhere. Funny how times have changed.

Same with me on too much pot. If things go on the floor for too long I just toss it. I have a lot in bags and in jars just waiting to be turned into sift for hash, and or edibles or wax. It’s amazing how precious pot was to me for most of my life. It was always hard to get if you moved.

When I go out in the morning now, I see a lady bug in the tip top of half of the plants or more. I had only just seen a few aphids recently and sure enough the ladybugs noticed, too. My European Paper Wasps have been almost non existent this year. I guess it was too dry or something early on.They really work my plants. But, with all of this rain every evening I worry the bad bugs may explode. Not normally an issue for me here.

I actually have a jar for “floor weed” I save it up along with my stems and use it for topicals.

I swear if someone spilled an ounce of bud on the floor right now, I’d get out the broom and dustpan. There was a time and not that long ago that I would have been on hands and knees like a crack fiend making sure I found every precious piece, blowing on it and dusting it off as I went. lol Scarcity truly does determine value doesn’t it? Now, even remembering the days I had to save, scrounge and smoke resin scraped from the pipe, I’ll still throw that shit away. What an ungrateful mofo I’ve become! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

That’s the heart of it right there. I give away nearly as much to friends and family in need as my household smokes, and still haven’t come close enough to running out between harvests to worry about it much in about a decade.

Same, but it’s only been a year for me being this flush. Doesn’t take long for the corruption to set in. :joy:

I’ve given away more than half of my harvest from last year (thrown away probably ounces of floor weed and stems ), 3 of us smoked all year and we still need to get a vacuum sealer for what’s left. Ready for some new strains to waste now! Bring on October!!

How much do you think I sent home with you @cannabissequoia? My client that I hooked up this year texted me recently saying he’s been the weed fairy with what I gave him. Said he’s mailed it to buddies all over the US, plus has enough for himself. Pretty sure that I’ve given away pounds at a time. I honestly think that I seriously underestimated the amount of bud weight I got. Maybe I should buy a scale this year just for shits and giggles. If I wasn’t a middle-aged accountant, could have been a lucrative endeavor.

One of the best parts of outdoor plants, huge harvest. How much does a typical indoor cabinet setup yield?

I joke, but I actually am happy that I can grow for Dad. It’s the least I can do. Not only that, but giving away my harvest brings me great amounts of joy. Being able to hook up seniors and my friend who had cancer and just give it to friends to bring joy to them. I love it. Cannabis makes everyone happy.

LOL :joy: That makes my day!

Amen & hell yes! I’ll be growing this even after my lungs won’t let me smoke it.

Just watched CBS 60 Minutes on bit weed tonight & it was really annoying to only hear ‘Cannabis’ being said by the “reporter” when they’re filmed talking to professionals. It was so over-the-top over-use/mis-use of the word ‘Marijuana’ as to be obviously agenda driven & perpetuating the out-dated, made-for-tv myths & propaganda from Uncle Sam. Granted this is broadcast to the general public & by & large viewed by the soggy-brained choir of averageness, it’s still maddening to this weed-head.

I love growing it and smoking my own home grown . And giving away all my surplus to help those in need .

@gramps You need 2 forklifts for the surplus from your beautiful monsters!

I’m glad to be back in this club, almost. I’m gonna be so spoiled in November!!! I’ve almost forgotten what it was like. My wife and I were talking harvest/ washing prep, plus getting some more jars. I can’t wait to trash some floor buds. :joy::joy::joy::joy:

Jars for curing outdoor plants? You’re funny! I use 3 and 5 gallon food grade buckets

Laughing!! He totally will!

I believe that’s what we are going to do also. We were talking about getting buckets last night. The stackable part is nice.

Just make sure they are food grade. The home depot kind won’t keep them well or long term. Just an fyi

Where is the best place to get the food grade ones?

You know things are going right when the girls start providing shade :sunglasses:

Homebrewers often use food grade buckets for fermentation, so check brewery supply stores. I hear some folks have luck at their local grocery or bakery since a lot of their products are shipped in those buckets. They might be giving them away. Check Craigslist too.
