Yeah it is. I’m about to post some pictures that are blowing my mind. The God’s Sky that I’m growing out from Eagles009 is amazing. In the last three days the buds have disappeared under the trichomes! lol
I love growing my own meds!!!

Today is week 7! Finally got some good flash pictures. She is way more sugary then I thought! Leaves still look like a mink’s butthole but she’s producing thick buds so I can’t complain. I often wonder how bad the growth has been hindered due to the miserable shape of this creature. Either way I can’t complain, because I so choose not to. This is what I get for having such a great first grow.

This round I want to let it go all the way til the hairs start receding and higher percentage of cloudy to see the difference

Um… why do you know what a mink’s butthole looks like? :stuck_out_tongue: Never mind, forget I asked anything… if there’s actually an answer, I’m sure I don’t want to know it. :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyway, as you said, she’s producing buds… so it could be worse, even if she’s acting like a Karen and simply refuses to be happy with anything. Hopefully the smoke comes out nice, and you can work on dialing everything in next time.

Week 8!!! I think they are about ready! The hairs are turning red, still a bit of white hairs though. Under the eyeball advancer all of the crystal mushroom things are cloudy minus a very select few semi cloudy, with a couple ambers here and there. Perhaps another week? Sorry for the close ups I couldn’t hold still.

Probably a week, but I’d check about every 3 days or so. It’s still stacking a little.

Cheers

Some nice colors. They are getting close.

I can’t add to that. Gpaw reads it the same as I. However, as you said, the pictures are blurry so we can’t really say just from those. Your description, though, tells enough for me to agree with Gpaw.
They are some frosty buds though. You should have a major smile going. lol

Very nice!

Yes I’m very impressed with the bud production despite the foliage issue! The resilience of these beautiful plants astounds me. The smell is amazing and the frosties far exceeded my expectations

It’s a good feeling isn’t it, to see your efforts come to fruition. I love growing my own.
I don’t know what I’d do if I couldn’t grow. There’s no way I could ever afford dispensaries prices.

Ok 3 days passed I went and checked

and took a sample for zoomy pictures.
As you can see, 2 of the zoomys there are amber. The other one there are none and even some clear looking ones. So what do you do here?? Wait for the rest of the buds to catch up? Or once there’s signs of amber then the buds are ready? Is there ever a point where all of the buds are ready at the same time to pick??

@MoBilly dude I feel ya man it’s a wonderful feeling! I’m so happy you are loving being able to grow your own medicine it’s so fun! You are amazing at it too I believe you would grow amazing vegetable gardens, and even herbs and flowers. If you don’t you should definitely go for it. Same rewarding feeling growing your own food. Heck even your own chicken eggs or rabbits for meat

I was raised going back and forth between military bases and Grandpa’s farm. When I got married it was to a girl that grew up country. We don’t really need a grocery store to get by.

The buds higher up on the plant seem to finish first more often than not. I have taken the mature buds off and let the others ripen some. It worked fine.

Oh ok that’s good to know thank you for clarifying this. Looking at harvesting threads I’m gathering that you want to more so look for all the clear trichs to cloud up mainly and then assess the amount of amber. Going to go for a more stony with this grow so I’m ok with more amber as long as it’s not too much.

I’m thinking that this harvest I’m going around 10% amber. That is less than last time but I’m wanting some that doesn’t couch lock as much for daytime use on days that I don’t hurt too bad.
Some will go more amber but most will be around ten %.
