I have a clone of Cap’s cut, that I set up to mother some more clones. They will be run in a 3x3 with an XS2000. Primarily fed with GH 3 part, Botanicare CalMag, HydroGuard, and probably Silica. I will throw in some MOAB for pk once we get to flower. Since they are the same strain, I set them up in my older, multi-plant DWC systems.
The new clones just started showing roots over the weekend, so I may have moved them a little quicker than I should have. The taller one rooted second, and the leaves were drooping the last few days, so I put a make-shift humidity dome over that one.
I am not sure what I want to do with these, but leaning towards just running them for some flower. Still debating if I want to pollinate them. The reason I am leaning away from this is as soon as my new tent is set up in the same room, I am going to start some reg testers and plan to leave up a male if I get one, so chances are that will end up pollinating the MAC anyway. Not trying to have a bunch of seeds who don’t know who their daddy is.
Let me squeeze by everyone, need to get to my favorite far right corner, will observe from there. I anticipate a very entertaining Show, if your past efforts are repeated. Continued success, Bro, SS/BW…mister
Thanks for joining us on the journey, everyone I appreciate the cheers. Hopefully it goes smoothly, but if not, we will all get to learn, together xD
I made a bit of an error with the mother plant, but looks like she should recover ok. I noticed some drooping on her yesterday, so I assumed she finally started increasing her water intake, and mixed up a new batch to refill her bucket. When I went to add it, I noticed that at some point, I turned off the water and the air pumps and never turned them back on. The water level was a little low too, so I fixed everything, and hopefully she bounces back ok. I will get a pick of that plant in here soon.
Anyone here ever have to troubleshoot/replace a water pump in an active DWC system? Now that I have power going to the pump again, there is no water falling from the basket.
I could just make a new clone for a new mom, take this one down, and then swap the pump before it gets used again, but part of me thinks if I am careful, I could probably just swap it while this one is still up.
