Have you done a quick dry on one of the smaller buds yet? That will tell all.
I see pretty much ALL cloudy trichomes. Most people who want no couch lock whatsoever, opt to chop when all the trichomes are cloudy, just as yours are now. Donāt chop until you test a bud though!!! There are ways to get a fairly good smoking test bud.
What do you think @Eagles009 ? I know you go for a lot of cloudy and little if no amber, right?

Feel like Iām seeing a few too many half clear half cloudy for my taste. It is a bit blurry though.

Well,the Lens are shitty,but I can tell,more are cloudy,very few are half Crystal like,or clear as It is classifiedā¦ @Eagles009 do you think a 10 day last effort would be a reward?Also,cutting a lower Bud,like popcorn Bud and let dry for 3 days,would give the effect ?

I would trust what you see. You are in the best position to tell. I donāt think ten days will hurt anything. I also think if they are majority cloudy with just a few half clear, thatās my sweet spot. Iād be chopping.
Testing a nug couldnāt hurt.

Cut a very small nug but very frosty,put it in dark and gonna let there for 2 days, itās like 0.10 grams max weight,so not even three hits, I Will test It on my water bong then,Maybe itās better
Also,I am dumb and removed the Brown and dry calyxes on main stalk

The Bud was small and got only One big hit and One small from my bubbler.Smoke was not bad,only without any particolar smell.
Effect:All I can Say Is I feel the opposite of racing energetic high,I feel sleepy and yawned 3 times.I think I should cut her soon or It Will turn in a very narcotic medicineā¦It Is wrong:how that possibile if I can see few half Crystal yet??Hence the ten days I thought seem OK to me.Gonna cut soon

You know your needs better than anyone else. Like I said, I have need for that narcotic effect so I go into amber. Having said that, I took my Critical Kush earlier than I wanted to because she decided to pop a couple of nanners and she is FINE by me. I needed something to take the edge off during the day. This is perfect for that. There is no couch lock but there is still enough to take the edge off of my pain. Win / Win.
Itās all about how you like it.
I might take some now, make notes about the % on the trichomes, wait, and repeat after there is noticeable change. Do this throughout the maturation of the plant.
Refer back to your notes later on and youāll know your sweet spot. But that could differ depending on strain. he he.

Thank you so much.My girls are a calming Indica dominant hybrid, thatās why the effect Is very soothing I guessā¦I would give Them a week more and then chop.It s odd,I can see a few half crystal but the effect was Just good to meā¦I donāt want very Heavy stoning or head High,Just a lazy High,kinda relax.

I have a lot of tiny mites,I am thinking of harvesting early starting from tomorrow.I killed with my tweezers a lot of Them.Since they can go to the other plant ai Will keep this One outside the tent and tomorrowā¦gonna chop.I donāt have the time to Battle Them.Itās too late in flowering to use products

I would chop and drown them if it were me. I would think using anything to kill them would get on your buds as well but I have never dealt with them. @Eagles009 @DougDawson may be more help than I for that reason.
This is what I have read on here a while back. Again, just reading not experiencing.
Hydrogen Peroxide in water inside of a bucket. Iād cut them, put them upside down in the bucket and leave them for a good 30 minutes. Then rinse and dunk in fresh water over and over.
YOU DO NOT WANT TO SMOKE THESE BUGS!
Do what you can to ensure they are all off the buds. The trichomes will be just fine. Some will be damaged but only those on the outside of the buds will be hurt. Then hang them in front of a fan until they are dry dry dry. and then a little longer. You donāt want any mold setting in.
This is just my way of thinking and what Iāve read. Take what sounds right out of it.

I Just killed a lot of Them,like 30,but I can see no more,I think I cought Them in time Indeed.Only lowesr branches were afflicted.Tomorrow gonna chop this plant,I feel Sorry for her,still not ripe enough but man,those bugs are terrible.I Will chop the other girl too.About washing:I think I am going to wash in warm water,not using any Peroxyde as I donāt have.Then wash in fresh water.But again,plant Is not infested, canāt see any web,Just a Little population.

Gonna give more darkness I can today,I keep Reading darkness before harvest Is a thing,going to check for mites with my flash on smartphone at times over night.Tomorrow in the morning I Will prepare a very cold water container,to gently wash the buds(even if the mites are only in One or two branches like they have established there)and then dry with a towel gently and fan.Also, temperature here Is 34 degree Celsius and Rh near to 30%,so mould Is not a problem.Wish me luck,I ll keep you updated.

Hydrogen peroxide is very cheap where I live, not sure about globally. You really want some in that bud wash. No need to use a towel on them after. You can just fan dry.
