30%+ THC Strains

I saw some crazy 30+% from Anesia seeds my distro got. ALSo I believe hes only distro for Anesia in , Canada maybe??? Could be wrong. Wouldn’t be first time,
Never had anything tested or know anything about testing thc.
This is just what the distributor are tagging theyre strains .
Good luck

I didn’t read every post, but I haven’t seen mention of Bruce Banner #3 by DarkHorse Genetics. :muscle:t3:

There’s also a PeanutButterBreath cut floating around, and testing over 30%.

This may have already been shared, but interestingly… there is data now suggesting that there is no association between cannabis potency (thc%) and subjective effects:

Testing Labs are ALL hypes, inaccurate readings, all will report a different reading for the same samples. They know consumers are chasing HIGH THC Numbers!!! SS/BW…mister :honeybee: :100:

Bold statement.

I test many things to inform and make educated decisions. Such metrics are an indication of how f’d your grow was, relatively. As a matter a fact, you could make a number of suppositions from the data above due to the amount of variability seen for the same cultivar … but differing grow environments.

That is true. All measurements have error with a standard deviation and bias. And, for some tests, the errors can be significant even with perfectly calibrated equipment. Not to mention, the ‘sample’ is destroyed upon testing. A second sample from the same lot will NOT be preciously the same. But, over time and quantity of sample, clear trends do evolve.

I’ve seen several percentage points of total cannabinoids differ off the same sample lot. That does not mean the testing was incorrect and fraudulent.

You’re referring to the labs (namely in CA) that purposefully fluff the numbers and got caught. There are bad actors every where. And there are good actors.

FWIW, customer’s can also manipulate the samples to their advantage. In fact, at the simplest level, that is exactly what you do when trim and prim a sample for testing. On a more dishonest level, the customer can manipulate a sample to achieve higher numbers.

In the end, it is a lab. In some places they are tightly regulated. It is up to you to understand their quality control, test methodologies, and error bars if you are concerned about result accuracy. Or, if you are purchasing, to understand that some brands may be less than honest.

I think you just need a high potency star and to pull out the stops growing it. Supplemental uvb, optimized par and vpd then last, but probably not least a bribe for the lab tech. How else you think people are claiming upwards of 40% thc on shit. Like mfs expect anyone who knows anything about weed to believe that you’re flower is only 60% plant material.

Future #1 from Anesia seeds website

"There are now some cannabis strains that regularly reach THC levels of 30% and more. Nevertheless, among the large number of different varieties of different seed banks, these strains are comparatively rare. Some varieties of the Anesia Seedbank are among the strongest cannabis strains worldwide. Our latest breed, Future # 1, showed a massive and incredible 37% THC-level in repeated lab tests. Some of you will think, that can not be and we thought so too. Why breed a strain that is so strong? We want to be honest, it has become a certain sports for us and we wanted to see how far we can come and what is possible. It has cost us a lot of work and a lot of effort but the result even astonishes us.

Future # 1 achieved the highest THC content we have ever seen, even if this was not considered possible from a physical point of view for a long time. And that may mean a lot. Our Future # 1 was created from a cross between our most potent and famous Gorilla Glue # 4 with an outstanding and lengthy selected Starfighter F2. So far, the common belief is that the absolute physical limit of THC content is 35%. But our Future # 1 has repeatedly proven the opposit. Even if it was not possible to conclusively clarify how it could happen until now, it is assumed that its extreme resin production makes it possible."

A licensed grow facility I managed(that I won’t mention)here in AK has about 15+ strains that test over 30%…some with total Cannabinoids over 40%!

Some really great strains we pulled out of Colorado!

We have all the big names…

GMO
Cookies
Tropicana crosses
Dog Waltz

Way too many to list really…

Unfortunately in this legal/rec market and most others folks only give a shit about the highest THC content they can find!! If you buy your Cannabis under these pretense you are doing it ALL wrong!!

There is SO much more going on with terps and cannabinoids the synergistic effect of all the compounds working together…

Fortunately folks are starting to figure this out!

I’ve smoked mid 30’s and stuff in the 10’s…both equally got me just as high!!

What’s the most important to me is…

Quality of high first to foremost!
Smells/flavor’s Terps
Plant structure/yield
And at the bottom of my list THC content…

TBH this newest trend in cannabis breeders who focus and the most THC, ultra dense buds, low yielding garbage for the most part…is for the birds!

Folks post these pictures of this great looking high THC Cannabis, but the yield is pure shit and the quality of high and flavor is even worse!!

Sorry for the little rant!

Yep thats serious, that and C.Banana are their top thc strains, they’re strong, C.Banana is a real sativa high, but as for a stable 30% thc I dont know, its botany and nothings garranteed, but WSE’s customer service is unbeatable.
Herbies carry some high thc strains too…Shishkaberry definitely.

Thc is only part of a great high or med
If you get the Thc an the terp profile right you get a longer cleaner type of high
Just my opinion.

Some of the best selling and highest quality of high strains I’ve grown in almost 30 years was Dynasty Seeds Mt Hood Huckleberry F1…it’s almost legendary here in AK!

Funny thing is…it would only test 14-16% THC!!

THC numbers to me mean very little…real world smoke results are more important…

YUM

You still holding that cut?

I wish, that was when I kinda was controlled by the delivery service I grew for .
The yield was not going to keep the boat afloat.

I swear that’s some kind of sweet spot. If you have 30% total cannabinoids but it’s all thc, to me that’s not going to be as good as something that has a mix.

You can always smoke more weed to get more thc, but you can’t add cannabinoids that don’t exist in your weed.
