Ill describe em both for you. Cuz Ive seen both a ton. Chem 4 flowers 12+ weeks and grows just like NL5Haze. Giant ass long spear colas. It was super common for outdoor norcal growers becuase it would yield massive and could handle insane heat. Taste and smell is straight gasoline. Not skunk. Not rubbery like the 91. Very sativa in effect.
Chem D is a squatass ghani. Great bag appeal, and a dumpster funk mixed with car exhaust. Itll also do fine outdoors, but it was mostly ran by indoor growers for that bag appeal. Also the effect is a narcotic “indica”. Miles away from the 4.
Grow more plants and youll learn some stuff. Instead of just making snarky little remarks online lol
The Chem D clone is widely available in California (where 707 is). I have not seen the 4 as much here but it is around. Stardawg is easily available. This isn’t Texas/Louisiana etc. Chemdog guy was selling cuts not so long ago in MA. Once that happened, it was everywhere.
Just for clarification, the dudes I knew that ran it outdoors got the seeds from 707, and just did simple “hill breeding” on it. Keep a handful of dudes, and pollinate single branches on the best of the best plants, so theyd have plenty of stock for next season. The vast majority of outdoor growers ran seed plants vs clones, since theyd yield a lot better usually. But Ive seen 75+ 5-7 lb plants on one farm, and they were suuuper uniform. Really impressive work from 707

I’m just glad when anyone can capture that chem funk in seed form. I had recently gotten a Chem d x colombian gold cross which was all Chem D and it tasted like cleaning chemical but smelled like onions and garlic. It made me be able to taste the chemicals in the tap water significantly more than usual. I went to a restaurant and was actually appalled at their horrible water which I now realize wasn’t that horrible, it was the lingering chem from vaping before going to the restaurant. I prefer when the chems settle on the funk side cuz that’s where the magic is from my experience. Chocolate Diesel #4 is a good example of this.
Have you tried Doc D Dagobah strain? I havent had it but I have heard it has the chem funk.
that looks like some stupid fire chem, the real chem that also tastes like some OG … looks like OG kinda too like some sfv almost. idk that looks great to me. whats the flavors like on it? all gas meaning just diesely and og? the other chem i tried kinda tasted like chemicals and more lemony. i liked the gas chemdawg better. chemdog chemdawg watever . havent had great chem or seen it in a long time. wouldnt say its “easily available” out there at all
Seems to be the case with alot of older inbred lines. They always move slow and stretch little. Buds look nice though. Unclesam im not sure why so many people get annoyed by the gold dark color of certain strains flowers. Im assuming you must be growing flower to sell. Idk how hed fix that other than introducing other genetics.
Flavour is great. Definitely has some lemon tho. If your after the gas, maybe try his SFV OG
ty 4 the reply man its been a while but ive had a few diff chems, and both had a little lemon flavor in them for sure. and the most memorable ones, one was like OG with some lemon background, and then it was that chemically tasting OG that was like a chem spray cleaner that got me the most ripped and tasted the craziest but a lot of ppl didnt like it bc it really did taste like chemicals haha. both of them got me so ripped, man i liked em a lot. always had sour but never enough chem. sounds awesome for sure. the one that you posted seems to look like the more chemmy tasting one that got me the most ripped. idk if that makes a lot of sense but it was one of my favorites, glad to see it in a quality state
