Revisiting these pics to remind myself what a monster this girl is!

I’ve grown a lot of plants outside but nothing ever like this clone.

Everyone I send it to seems to be very happy with the results.

Not the best pic or run, but here is Taos OG currently on day 45 of flip and pregnant with fem seeds from my reversed LSG. Excuse the reveg from peaking at them during lights out. She smells great! (only under 75w in a 2x4)

I’ve been able to compare SFV OG and 92 OG to the Taos OG, and so far the 92 OG is the most similar in flavor. 92 seems to have slightly more gas, but the Taos has way more citrus / mint. The SFV is different. I would consider them all in the same general class though.

Neither the SFV or 92 can hold a candle to the Taos OG’s growth characteristics, but I’m going to run all three outside this year to see how they do.

About how many days do you typically give the Taos in flower? I should now be at week 9 / Day 63 Flower. Planning on giving her a full 12 to let the seeds finish good and ripe.

That’s probably about right. It’s a fairly fast finisher, overall.

The 2024 outdoor garden is bigger and more diverse than ever, but I haven’t had time for pics, or forums. I hope to get some images posted soon.

@GrownAtHighAltitude I for one would love to see what you’re growing outdoors this year. :grinning:

Your grows look really good. Did you ever give a smoke report on the Kali mist? I’m thinking I want to grow that one for the nostalgia and sativa high if they are still available. I prefer growing outdoor in the ground as well. I hope your garden is throwing down this year and can’t wait to see your pics.

Sorry, work and weather has been getting in the way. I have had to start harvest due to some deadlines / timing also. I’ll see what I can do this week.

Search some of my posts in the AKBB thread. I put up some pictures previously. The Kali Mist is total metal haze taste and it had a nice soaring high. I ran out of it months ago as it was the favorite of one of my friends.

Not the best pictures this year, but at least I got something. The temperatures have been dipping to 30-33F at night, and in the mid 70’s during the day, but no sign of frost damage on anything I have outside, thankfully.

I am testing a few different Taos OG hybrids. Taos OG x NL2, and Taos OG x SSH. Both are fantastic looking. The NL2 is a highly complimentary staminate parent. I’ve retained most in clone form.

The NL1 x Puck BC from C&C is super funk gassy goodness. I can’t wait to sample that. Thankfully I have a clone.

I am really impressed with Apple Fritter outdoors also. I have most of my other collected clones out there as well. This is a much better year than last.

Yes…very nice all around. I’m a bit lower than you but still seeing a bit of a nip in the air in the AM. What a year though. Gonna be a seriously good finish! Nice and slow. Not that “Oh shit…it’s gonna SNOW” stuff. (like 2019 if you were growing here then outdoors)

thanks for sharing!

Yeah, earliest hard frost I’ve ever seen here was September 1st, with snow flying and everything right after. This is a GOOD year for ripening buds, for sure! That may have been 2019, actually.
