Took down the Blue Heaven today, its cold in the workshop, so I will do the Tut tomorrow. All the buds from before it went re veg are nice and solid, luckily 90% of it, the rest of the new buds after re veg are all light and fluffy. It seems to have fared better than the Sebs Rev. We will see how the Tut has done tomorrow  My nice new Friskars Teflon coated trimmers did not get any residue on them, saved a bit of time not having to clean them, I don’t think it will be the same when I do the final trim though Battery is dead on the camera so I will post pics later…

Weedly Update.

Things are moving around thankfully plants being harvested at last and new plants going into the flower room.
After moving 5 X 10 gal pots and lolly pooping the Blueberry CBD and G99 my arms are tired and painful. I am so glad I didn’t have to do all 8 at once.
Sorry but the pics have got a bit fogged in places on the camera lens after being out in the cold workshop.

New room added as well, I have now annexed the cupboard under the stairs for my new cloning room and beer fermentation.

In the cloner we have 7 X G99 7 X Grand Daddy Purple and 7 X Big Nosed Kate, As soon as I get a couple out I will put in some male TER cuttings for pollen making clones.

In the Clone and seedling cabinet we have a bit of space now, my LABs is done and out of the way and I swapped the heater for a little 250W Honeywell Bud heater works very well, may get another for the veg tent, on sale 19.99 at Canadian tire atm saving $10 +tax.

The 3 CCK up front got topped this week doesn’t seem to have slowed them down at all so I will probably bend them over as well to get some lower branching going.

The 4 Sebs Rev seedlings doing well except one, which was a casualty of moving stuff around and got knocked over. Now supported for the time being.

5 Orange Goji coming on as well, the smallest popped up 3 days ago with the seed pod stuck on it like 3 others did, man those cases are so hard, it was a struggle to prize them off. Hoping for a at least 3 females or more here.

In the Veg tent things are looking better, everything at roughly the same height the 3 TER are prone to light burn, so I have had to raise the Bridgelux light up another 6 inches to be safe.

Mothers doing well there were several good new tops from the GDP but I will replace her with a new clone as all the new growth is near the top and she is getting quite lanky. Binned the Big Nosed Kate male, as it was suffering bad from thrips the only one that seems to have any damage, as I have sprayed them all down every 3 days for the last 2 and a half weeks, cant believe they survived on him as he had very little leaves on it anyway. ATM its just a TUT, GDP and BB CBD mother I will keep a BNK and G99 as well when they come out the cloner. and probably a TER as well when I get around to take some cuts of them.

In the Flower Room.

Had a move about again with plants and lights, mainly just spacing them out better, as the BB CBD and G99 are pretty bushy and tall  the next lot coming in will be shorter as the BNK is really unproductive for the first 3 ft up the stems, a lot of wasted energy making them that tall. I don’t think the TER get that tall anyway which is a good thing.

BB#2 she nearly fell over when I was moving her about today so she has a stake holding her up now, getting a bit top heavy. with some nice chunky fat buds. Not to impressed with her trichs though, not as frosty as I would have liked. She has started to fox tail as I moved her under the Bridgelux light when the Sebs Rev came out, and didn’t raise the light enough.

The Blueberry Cough, with beautiful slightly smaller than baseball sized buds, and extremely frosty, I had to stake her during the week as she had a big lean on not that its helped much, as the branches are still hanging down again with the weight, I will have to put some more stakes in around the edge and raise those branches up she has about a week to 10 days left I think, and starting to fade nicely.

The Naughty BB#1 still throwing out new pistils and fattening up haven’t found any more male flowers on her, but I will keep checking until she is out of there. Not seeing much trich development on her either.

BNK looking good still putting out new pistils and getting fatter she doesn’t seem to want to quit yet so I will keep letting her go as long as she want, there arwe a couple more good sized colas out of camera as well.

Close up.

One of the BNK buds that has been under the Bridgelux light, very frosty compared to the next pic down bud, and only 4 inches away.

Difficult to see with the lens fog, I will try and get a better one next week, but the trich development not so good under the HPS compared to the Bridgelux LEDs.

The 2 Newbies G99

BB CBD, not much room down this end, hoping they will not expand width ways too much but the G99 will stretch a lot, she may end up under a light by herself.

Now for the Blue Heaven and Tut that have been chopped.

Blue Heaven up first.

Pre trim pics.

Different angle.

After Trimming, nice dense buds on the older stuff, the new is more like fox tailing.

On the floor.

The TUT.
What a state, she got so heavy the strings around the stakes slid down, another wide load. Looks impressive but its not :frowning: There are some larger buds under all that but its mostly popcorn all over. I could not be bothered to trim it, gave up after 5 minutes as my arms hurt too much.

Close up, a very frosty but big mess, dont quite know what to do with her, other than make some RSO out of her.

I have learned a few things this time around, and if I get another fuck up with re vegging flowering plants half way through I think I will just bin them straight away, instead of wasting time and power on them, I get enough oil production from my trim, to waste time with all this popcorn bud, Its OK for the CBD stuff, as that’s going for oil anyway, but for THC I have pounds of trim sitting in containers waiting for processing. I may just try dry sifting a load for Hash.

I may use this TUT for making Canagars when my moulds arrive from Explorer soon, easier to grind up all this small stuff for making them I would think.

All that trimming should keep you busy lol lookin good!

That’s a tangled mess to trim but it’ll be worth it. Both times I have done a re-veg on a flowered plant, they seem to lose their vigor. They don’t have the stretch, density and yield of the mothers they came from. I used to have to veg my AK47 cuts for a few months to get a decent yield from a plant.

Hi Trippy, TER is Tranquil Elephantizer Remix, its a heavy sleepy narcotic type Indica. Reputed to be the ultimate couch lock until something else comes along.

You’re going to need more than a new pair of scissors to hack thru that jungle!

I am amazed at how well these new teflon coated friskars work, I only had to clean them 4 times when I trimmed the Blue heaven yesterday, down side is not much scissor hash but saving about 40 minutes of scissor cleaning is better. Hows it all going up in the great white north man?

ok so i am old and just recently heard about this style of growing …can you please give me a brief description of what it means ? …after looking at your pictures and reading some realized i had pictured something quite different in my mind …not sure i could handle big containers like that …do you need to have that size to grow this way?

No problem Stiggy, I enjoy upsetting people with my tin foil hat

Hi River Lady thanks for stopping in.

Unfortunately bigger pots seem to be essential for no till, it helps with PH buffering. Basically No Till means No digging, all your supplements go straight down on the surface, to be broken down by the worms and bugs and bacteria. You need to add 25% of your plants back into the soil when the leaves are green, to keep the system running without deficiencies, you can also use cover crops to aid in this. So all my rough trim and defoliation goes straight back on top of the soil, and add stuff as and when they need it as well. Most of the time its about creating and feeding bacteria which then ion turn feed the plants.

Meh. Sick of winter and how low I’m feeling. Can’t seem to get anything together.

Keeping the plants alive at least but need to organize things a lot better and get some going to try the STS on.

Tomorrow for sure.

Its a good way to grow organically, but heavy pots make it hard on my back, neck and shoulders, I try and move them when they need watering, they weigh 50% less

have huge pots on my deck and some times i need to move them … got my self a cheap dolly at home depot it works great …not sure if that would be at all practical for you …

Not really, they go from my veg room in the house to my flower room in my workshop 25 ft away. My workshop has 2 x 6 in plank flooring which is a little uneven on the edges. Nothing rolls smoothly across it.

Weedly Update.

Under the stairs the clones doing well in the cloner, just over a week now probably 50% have root nubs showing so far, Not had to spray water inside the dome for the last 4 days now, what manages to come through from underneath keeps them good at these temps and theyn dont seem to expend a lot of energy.

In the clone seedling Cabinet, things going OK as well, temps have been on the high side this week 80-83F, as ambient temps have been above 0 during the day. I still haven’t changed the blurple for a SIL configuration, so I can lower the heat with less light.

The Sebs Rev seedlings going strong.

Orange Goji have jumped in size this week the late comer to the group is a little slow still.

The TER boy doing good I wish it was a girly its got such a thick trunk and close nodes.

Turned the blurple off for these, the 3 Big Nosed Kate going well, I told my buddy he will have to have some from the cuts in the cloner as these will be massive by the time the others are ready, he only has 1 light and tent, I keep telling him togrow just one strain at a time to keep it easy but he wont listen and then moans at why some do well and some dont, he will learn eventually.

The 3 Big Nosed Kate 3 will be going into ten gal pots this week as I have more clones coming for a mother fingers crossed. I want to try and train them, to bush them out more this time, instead of just topping a few branches. They could be a really good producer from what I am seeing with the one in flower atm.

Caramel Candy Kush, middle one has a Phosphorous problem, probably PH related in these small pots. I only half filled them so I can add more if they stretched too much, going to add an inch of sheep manure to the top of them this week.

In the Veg Tent the plants are settling into the big pots now and putting in some fast growth.
Mothers in the corner looking very happy atm, Nitrogen is still a little high, but at least they have stopped burning up.

Green Crack at the back and 1 TER at the front.

1 TER at the front then White Diesel X Ghost Ryder and Mighty Grape at the back. I had to start spraying for thrips again this week little fuckers cant quite seem to fully get rid of them. They are all around 18 inches atm. I was thinking of putting them into flower this week but, I am going to hold off for another week.

In the Flower Room.
Heater died a few days ago so they all got night chills again for a few days until I noticed it was down to 47Fin there the other morning before the lights came on. So I moved the heater from the veg tent to the flower room and got another little 200w heater from Canadian tire to go in the veg room. The Big Bang and Blueberry cough got some defoliation this week to open them up to the light a bit more.

Blueberry Cough, what a yummy smell coming from this plant, I thought it would have been done now but seems to still be gaining size and weight, some buds hanging down the side now. I had to put 2 more stakes in to support those buds. getting a nice fade still on more leaves.

Close up of those lovely frosty nugs.

Big Bang #2 I thought she would be done this week as she wasn’t drinking too much but that may have been due to the cold nights with a broken heater, as she is still throwing out new little buds. Trichs are starting to improve now as well.

Close up with a lighter for scale.

Bad Big Bang #1 found a fewmore little male flowers this week and some seeds here and there. her trichs are getting thicker now as well as throwing out more pistils.

Close up.

Painted Fires Big Nosed Kate. Still growing, they will all get another week, she may get 2 she is still a thirsty girl, and not losing to many leaves anymore. I had to put extra support tape higher up as all the branches are struggling to support the buds atm, except the center stem…

Close up.

Blueberry CBD looking great now she has gotten over the burn and going strong.

The G99 this is going to be a very bushy plant, still got a bit of nitrogen toxicity causing clawed leaves in places but I am hoping when she hits the stretch immanently, she will use it all up and level out more.

That’s it for now cheers for looking.
