A Shadey spot to grow, Perpetual organic no till

12 weeks is only 2 more than I normally give my plants anyway, so not much difference there, it would be nice to get a little bleeder lol.

Correction… 13 weeks lol

Is it 13 Okay I will note that. After the 2019 summer light fiasco, the plants I had in flower then, were in there for about 17 weeks in the end. I was sick of looking at them lol

I took mine down at 13 as suggested by meesh and mongo. It was a bit hard to nail down doneness with the trichs so I just chopped her lol

Was beyond tired of looking at it… honestly I dunno if I could justify the 6 month grow time again, ill know after it cures awhile

Weedly Update

Things going well for a change, ambient temps remaining around 0C which means the clone cab, veg tent and flower room are keeping stable atm.

Cab is staying steady around 78F lights on 74F lights off and RH is 45% lights on 50% lights off. In there we have 3 new Banging Big Nosed Kate, all three germinated in 36 hours and had half inch tap roots, I put the 1st one into a peat puck and its little pot, and went to get the second one of the three, but there was only one left on the paper towel. WTF I thought, where did that go, I looked on the floor, in the clone cab couldn’t find it, so just put the next one into a peat puck and into the little pot, the little pots stop them drying out quickly, then called it a day.

2 days later they were stretching and had roots showing through the peat pucks so I made up two party cups to put the peat pucks in. Got the first one in and then did the second one, looked down on the clone cab floor to where I was going to place them, and WTF is going on, there is a seedling laying there with a 2 inch tap root with cotyledons ???

I can only surmise, that one germinated seed must have stuck to my finger when I picked the first one up, and fell down the side between the peat puck and the pot, when I was putting the first one I picked up into the peat puck. So I just stuck it in a party cup with soil and its doing nicely, but a bit smaller lol.

Banging Big Nosed Kate

The Ogers girl on the right, OH boy in the middle, looking droopy, too much water, and I am still not sure what the other back left OH sex is lol.

4 Dragons Blood Hashplant cracked in 24 hours, all with 1/4 inch roots. I think I may have fucked up, as we will be away for a month visiting my daughter in Kelowna when they have about 2 weeks left to finish. So I hope they show sex quickly as I might be able to flip them sooner or I may ask my nephew to take them and put them in his tent if he can, until we get back.

In the Veg Tent things are similar temps 76F on 70F lights off and RH is the similar as the clone cab 45% lights on but 65% lights off probably because of all the bigger plants.

The big OHXPAC of the 2 up front is going like a train at a 45 degree angle lol, since I last bent it as well as the smaller one behind it going at a 45 degree the other way. The 2 OH at the back have corrected themselves, they are all greening up nicely after transplant, and they are going to get more training over the next 5 weeks of veg. That big one is going to be a monster I think lol.

The 3 Sebs Rev are looking sad after their transplant 3 Days ago but they will pick up.

The OHXPAC experiment in the small pot has almost got all its colour back now and looking good. I bent her about as well I think I will sling her in the flower room this week sometime.

In the Flower Room temps are 75-78F lights on 71-73F lights off Rh is down to 45% lights on and between 50 and 60% lights off. I would like it lower than that, but if I turn the extraction fan on it will just make the heater run all night trying to keep the room warm.

As I am not running the extraction fan, I put a batch of wine on in there to boost the C02 now instead of the Tiki light. That should keep them very happy for the next 10 - 14 days.

Oger on the right still greening up a bit I may make an N foliage feed to speed her up a bit as she will start stretching in another week. The SD X SL on the left still looking great.

The Oger on the right had a bad reaction to the spraying with neem oil, that they all got last Tuesday, she got messed up a bit :frowning: they all got the same, the only difference is she is right next to the heater, they were sprayed right before lights out, so that’s the only thing I can think that might have caused it. I put the wine bucket in front of the heater now, and I wont be spraying them anymore.

Cheers for looking.

Weedly Update.

Its been a few degrees cooler this week, but not affecting much in the grow rooms tweaked my controllers a little to get the fans running a bit more often to replenish co2. In the Clone cab and veg tent.

In the clone cab the seedlings are moving along well.

The 4 Dragons Blood Hash Plants are doing well and went into party cups on Thursday. Raised them up so they dont stretch too much.

The 3 Banging Big Nosed Kate also doing good. The front center plant is a Sunflower, I keep finding these growing in my pots I left outside at the end of August to flush a bit with the rain. The squirrels have been burying the seeds in the pots lol. I have 3 now, 2 in party cups and 1 growing with the Sebs Rev in the veg tent.

Ogers girl on the right OH boy on the left, the other plant that was still deciding ended up being a boy as well so I got shot of it. I am going to up pot the girl and stick it in flower and flower the male in the breeding cab and then put the female in as well for a couple of weeks and then back into the flower room and see how that works out.

In the Veg tent, its filling up.

The leggy SD X SL is over her transplant shock and getting into full vigour again so she will be going into the flower room today.

OH X PAC front left and the 2 OH at the back, hard to see which is which, but they may have to go into flower at the end of next week if they keep growing at this rate

The big OHXPAC is really taking off now, I expect she will be around 3 ft tall by the end of next week. This pot is the one that was full of worms, and had about 2 inches of EWC on the top, which is why its probably doing so well.

The 3 Sebs Rev starting to get their roots down now and green up.
]

In the flower room. They all got some top dressing this week with a TBS of Jobes 3.7.4 organic ferts. A TBS spoon of Lime and a 1/4 cup of Gypsum. They will get some Epsom and Sulpomag in their water today as well.

The tall Ogers darkening up she got 2 foliar feeds this week, they are starting to bud up now 2 weeks from flip.

Smaller Ogers.

Burned up SD X SL I was thinking this morning of just pulling her out, and replacing with the spare I was going to use as practice for flowering in a small pot. The Neem oil spray down and heater have done a good job of fucking her up, her new growth is looking good but she is in a bit of a state. I decided to leave her be If I transplant the other one it will be stressed for the first 2 weeks of flower and not be much better in the end.

The Other SD X SL doing well starting to see a bit of K deficiency I think, its either that or nute burn, seems to affecting only a few big fan leaves atm, it didn’t start until after I gave them a bacterial tea, which is why I think it may be nute burn…

Cheers,

Lol you should LST the sunflower and see how long you can keep it in there

I could see if I can get it in a knot without breaking it :joy:

Hell yea lol or braid them together

Just moved the 2 OH X PAC into the flower room they are almost as big as the ones in flower now, I hope they dont stretch much. The 2 OH will stay in veg a bit longer but they are not far behind.

While I was trimming off sucker branches from the bottom of the plants, I noticed some leaf damage to the alfalfa cover crop that looked like thrip damage. I checked under the scope and it was some kind of very dark green mite with no spots, so I have removed all the alfalfa from my pots, and all the plants will be getting a spray down again. I cant see any on the plants leaves I chopped off when removing the sucker branches, so at least that is encouraging. Not seen any leaf damage on the ones that have been in flower nearly 3 weeks now either.

Lol ffs you can’t catch a break with the pests

It seems to be the way, as soon as you think it’s safe to stop worrying, the little barstards appear again.

I saw somthing flying in my tent so I stuffed one of those super death air fresheners in it with the fans off lol. They’re only seedlings at the moment, ill pull it back out when they get bigger

You do no till organic or somthing like that right?
I guess that would leave you open for a bit more bug action??

Yeah, there are lots of ways bugs can get in when you add fresh soil or compost the usual way with mites is on clones though. I checked whether mites do like alfalfa as a food and its definitely one of their preferred food sources, might be they like high nitrogen storing plants. Seems strange they would just sit in the alfalfa and not want to go higher, perhaps the fan in close proximity dissuaded them for a bit until they would have no option but to move up into the cannabis.

Ya get bugs in bags of commercial dirt also

Weedly Update.

In the clone/seedling cab, we are down more plants and just left withe the party cups.

2 sunflowers back left middle back is the BBNK runt then a DBHP then on the right is a BBNK. Front right is another BBNK and the next 3 are DBHP all doing well. The 2 OH boys and the Ogers girl have gone in the veg tent so I was able to lower the light a bit. I also added more soil to the party cups.

In the Veg tent.

The 2 OH looking good growing slower than the OHXPAC which have now gone into the flower room on Wednesday.

the 3 Sebs Revs in the middle starting to get bigger fast now, and the 2 OH boys and Ogers girl next to them, I think I over watered them they dont look happy, either that or the fan is to close.

In the Flower Room.

The 2 OHXPAC

The 2 Ogers, cut the top off that front one with the pic.

So here is another pic of one of the tops, stacking up well on the end of week 3

The 3 SDXSL I put the spare in the little pot in there to compensate for the front one, which is gradually losing all its leaves, new growth is coming through but not doing well and the buds are all stunted :frowning: I might just cut it down and put something else in the pot for vegging.

Cheers for looking.

Cheers Dequilo, you spoke to soon lol, a couple of the flower plants are burning to death I think or the PH is right out of whack in the pots.

Late Weedly Update again. I couldn’t open my workshop door yesterday as it had frozen shut, nearly broke the door frame trying, a bit warmer today and managed to get in there lol.

After removing a big load of ice that is freezing over the door and bottom of the door frame.

You can see all the condensation running down the door and frame.

In the clone cab things going well, gave the BBNK a little food this week as they are probably staring to get a bit hungry now. The DBHP are catching up on the BBNK, the 2 sunflowers on the left end are starting to overtake lol.

In the Veg tent things are going well except for the 2 OH boys. Still waiting on Digikey to get back to me about the driver, they requested my light specs and a wiring diagram last week.

The 2 OH girls doing well and getting big fast, these are at the same size as the OHXPAC that went into the Flower Room the other week, but I am keeping them in here another week. I am going to put the 600w HPS in the flower room to provide more heat and I can then fit these in as well just.

The 3 Sebs Rev are doing good, I want to get these in the Flower Room as soon as I can as well, down to my last 3 grams of CBD oil, the 2 OH boys are still looking unhappy after being transplanted and over watered but the Ogers girl front right has picked up well this week…

In the Flower Room.

The temps have gotten low in here this last week, averaging 70F at night but only 73 - 74F lights on. So I am putting the 600W HPS in here, but not before I get the predator mites at least the cool temps are slowing the spread hopefully.

The 2 OHXPAC looking good except I found a few damaged leaves with mites and eggs again, on the one in front, FFS. So I am ordering 2,000 predator mites to sort these fuckers out once and for all. I will be putting them in the veg tent and flower room. Only the plant in front has them as far as I can find but going for overkill now in case they spread.

Short Ogers, looking like it needs a little N and P which I gave it last week, still not in the system, starting to get a bit of purple develop on some leaves, might be due to temps not sure if the strain has purple in it, I will have to check.

The tall Ogers, not got any worse eating its leaves this week and its slowed right down on the stretch now, so hopefully getting into full flower mode on week 4.

The bushy SDXSL in the corner has started to burn I think. Its starting to look like the other one, except its praying hard lol. I saw a few brown spots appearing on the leaves which looked like calcium deficiency, so I gave it a 1/2 TBS of lime last week, I may have messed the PH up. The small pot SDXSL on the left next to it starting to bud up as well now

The other one that went down hill fast after the neem oil spray down is growing nice new leaves but they dont take long before they start crisping up, again I am now thinking its nute burn and not the neem oil and heater causing the reaction.

Cheers for looking.

I’m struggling with low humidity too. Got a humidifier going in the next room going to put in the room with plants instead of by the thermostat.

I finally turned the fan on manual and set it just enough speed to keep the temp down. I don’t think you could if it was hps LED saving the day here.

New growth looks healthy enough.
