AC Infinity Fan Question

I got one of these and there are a ton of settings. I m wondering how people use these?

Theres a timer setting. A high rh, low rh, high temps and low temp setpoints.

Currently dealing with a heatwave and want to add any air conditioner to the room, but dont want this fan running 24/7 and sucking out all that conditioned air. Is there a setting for it to come on 5 minutes every hour or so regardless of these setpoints mentioned above?

There are quite a few models, but based on your description, it looks like you may have one of the following:

CLOUDLINE S4, CLOUDLINE S6, CLOUDLINE S8, CLOUDLINE S10, CLOUDLINE S12, CLOUDLINE T4, CLOUDLINE T6, CLOUDLINE T8, CLOUDLINE T10 or CLOUDLINE T12

Is that right? If not, which model do you have?

T6 woops…

OK…there’s is a timer, but it may not have enough on/off cycles to meet your needs. You can always get a digital timer from Amazon with up to 24 on/off cycles (or more).

If yours didn’t come with a manual, you can download one here:

mines just always on level 4. keeps my temps to 80 and below, so im happy

If this is your main exhaust, why not try and run the controller in auto mode? Set your max temp, and max humidity, turn the other two off and you may be golden. I have a few small tents, all equipped with AC Infinty fans, and they all run a constant 78 degrees and 65% RH all the time. Thus is in a 69 degree room that is humidified when need be.

I had tried the auto, but the fan just kicked off and on, really often, when my light is on. It’s less noticeable to me if it’s always on, personally.

I’d say set the max/min temp and humidity you want then run it on auto. If it goes too high or low it will kick on using up to the speed you programmed it to use. It might take a bit of trial/error to dial it in.

I just set Max humidity and temp for it to kick on. Takes a bit of trial and error to dial in. I keep a hygrometer in the tent to compare readings. I have to dial in my MAX humidity setting for it to kick on and maintain roughly the correct humidity. It all depends on your lung rooms readings. It’s not hard to figure out, just takes some practice.

I really feel the lack of scheduled on/off times a major design flaw! How did they not think to add this?! It’s a great fan but I think with some better programming it could be better.

My situation is that i need to cool the room and dehumidify so I dont want it running 24/7. I can accomplish this with high setpoints. But then it wont ever turn on.

Should be some logic that if after X minutes of not running, run for X minutes.

Can I just ask what the concern is with it running 24/7?

If you upgrade your fan controller to Controller 67 (sold separately), you get more functions and settings to customize the way your fan runs. It’s still not perfect, but it has more functionality including the ability to set a minimum (non-zero) fan speed when the fan is “off” and the ability to set a fan cycle (for example, 5 min on, 55 min off). I would hope they start including controller 67 with T series fans instead of the base controller.

If you’re running CO2, for example, you wouldn’t want to exchange air constantly as it could possibly exhaust CO2 faster than you’re pumping it in. It can also make controlling temp/humidity harder if you’re constantly exhausting air and sucking air from outside the tent/room. However, running exhaust 24/7 is better for creating negative pressure in a tent/room to control odor.

Thanks for the tip on that controller.

Ya that all makes sense about the CO2… The reason I asked is bc I’m trying to learn how to dial my indoor grow space in better. I don’t implement CO2 but at certain times of the year my fan runs constantly. It might be an issue I need to work on. Waiting to afford a small AC unit… anyway, it’s a constant battle and the reason I didn’t even bother growing inside this summer. Upped my outdoor game massively though… anyway I’m rambling. Thanks for the advice.

Im constantly sucking out air conditioned and dehumidified air. Big energy waste
