I’m another one that will be of no help. I grew the '72 CG x Malawi (Afropips), and it was fun to grow, easy, but I don’t notice the high from that one. I found the jar of it and it’s almost two years old. The taste improved exponentially. It sort of reminds me of old CG with a touch of a chocolaty flavor and aroma. It’s called Golden Wedding, made by @Smilestyle from Open Grow. It came from Germany I think and @santero may know more about it.
I have some of the Malawi by itself and been wanting to run it. I also have some Lemon Thai from Dutch Flowers(?) that @santero worked with, I think. I have 2 - f2 seeds that are from SAN I think, and 5 - f3 from @Smilestyle. I didn’t want to run them before I could try and make seeds and clones with them.
Now, I want to run that Malawi Gold. I have a friend up in the mountains that has a geodetic greenhouse that’s 18-20ft high. He said he had a sativa growing out of the top vent once but lost it to freeze I think. If he’s gonna be here all summer I may take him up on it.
I really hope I get into those LT this year to make seeds. Man, the possibilities are whizzing through my brain about the crosses you could make from that LT. Maybe cross it to the Malawi Gold. I’ll try and figure out where it came from. I bet SAN knows. peace
