Pretty much said he has stock of all his dads seeds but all his dads plants are gone. So really while the genetics are here we don’t know what the future of BOG seeds will be. Jim will have to seed hunt for new Mom and Pop plants. Kind of bugged me that it was just a voice on the phone but I guess is was better than nothing.

Well… skunkman did an interview recently where he was shown as a sock puppet… literally. I much prefer to hear the man’s voice, without any visual if that’s what he wished…

So we have his word (and that’s it) the seeds are his dads original stock & not just F2’s he (or someone else) made in the past couple years. And there’s a lot of $ involved & basically no way to really verify either way. But he promises they are his dads, so we’re all good to buy these packs straight from BOG’s mason jar he filled. Is that the summarized version?

I think this just about sums up what the root of all the confusion was about as far as the missing phenos go. It was a legitimate concern. So while it is officially BOG gear, it’s none of BOGs cuts.

Pretty much. I mean it is not far fetched to think the man could have had tons of seeds stuck aside. He only sold so many and was doing it for many years. There really is no way to verify that is 100% the truth but that’s the same as most anything I suppose. We have to have some faith.
Yes. I mean apparently all the releases now are from BOG’s cuts. Jr did not speak of what his current project is but only that he kept his project going. I am assuming Grape Punch as that’s the only strain he claims as his own and called it the second best strain BOG seeds produced. It really just means that Jr. would have to go back into those seeds and pheno hunt new parents. Like most things, once the parents are gone the strains will never be the same but at least they will be BOG genetics.
Here is hoping Jr. decides to get someone more passionate about the growing aspect to help move things along. Going to take a while to hunt new parents and get everything sales worthy.

There’s an old post from bog himself where he says he keeps plenty of stock in backup for the future in case something happened…
Which aligns with recent information.
I have no time or will to find that post, so you’ll have to trust me on this one

I feel he should change the name of the seed company to “BOG Jr.” to differentiate himself from his father. Losing all the parent stock is a big deal. Nothing will ever be the same as it was.

Did he say anything about actually having an online presence in the future? Would be better if he made an IG account or something. IMO it seems like he’s being pretty fuckin lazy about the whole thing. You’d think he’d take a lot more pride in continuing his dads beloved work and want to show people what’s going on. I still think he needs to do more than just making one over-the-phone “interview” vid. If he was just some pollen chucker I wouldn’t care. But we’re talking about some of the greatest genetics from one of the greatest breeders to grace this earth. It just seems lazy to me given the circumstances and situation.

He’s got a lot on his plate. Living his own life and his career along with taking care of his mom who’s had multiple strokes over the past few years. So it’s understandable why he isn’t doing so much right now. Jr mentioned that he doesn’t like the whole ig/internet thing. Prime example is what just recently went down this past week. Gotta put yourself in his shoes. Dad died who was a huge influence on your life and now your mom might be going while also taking care of your own life outside of continuing your dad’s legacy. It’s a lot to handle @VAhomegrown
