@Doulovebeef your grow looks awesome brother! I’ll bet those girls bring a smile to your face every time you see them!

@ReikoX thanks guys, im glad i have them in tents - those bitches stink! ive been growing these same phenos for 3 cycles, clone of a clone style. and i swear every time they smell stronger than the last cycle.

question - it has been my experience that clones seem to smell and taste stronger than those from seed, despite having read about the hybrid vigor from seed having an increase in biomass compared to its parents - i havent been able to track down any literature about turpene content from clone vs seed. does anyone have any input?

@Tinytuttle i brew all grain and keg. i have a recipe for an outstanding 'lawn mower" beer, a pale ale with light hopping, for those who drink those light colored beers and dont have a palate for beers. however, my go to beer is a modified oktoberfest, more hops to balance the sweetness out and 10% rye in the grain bill because i like the bready spicy flavor it gives.

My brother is the brewer, I am the grower. He has an all grain system with temperature controlled fermentation chamber. He makes all kinds of beers and even hard ciders. He brews like I grow.

@ReikoX Ya that’s some art. Beautiful stainless steel and tygon tubing. Gorgeous. I use a turkey fryer burner. She’s old, Rusty cast iron and sounds like a jet engine running full tilt boogy.

WHOO! tonight we start flush for the flower tent. down hill slide for this cycle. pure RO water, non ph’d, 7 days. clones for next cycle have been moved to there 7 gallon smart pots, coco. they’ll spend one more week in veg, they will be topped one last time tonight. flower tent is in dark cycle currently, but when the lights kick on ill snap a few pics. in the mean time…

veg plants in staging area (my office) ready to be moved back into veg tent.

normally i dry in my flower tent after harvest, but this time im going to set up a dehumidifier up in my office and suspend a chain from one wall to the other, and the clothes hangers will hang from it. this should save me a week so i can immediately move the veg plants into flower and get things rocking.

whew, next round is in coco, i decided to keep a few extra clones and ill take my cuttings for next cycle from them, instead of stressing the plants im about to put in flower, same cuts, dont know why i didnt think of it before.

got my chain hooked up for harvest time, wanted to make sure everything would support the weight.

and thats all for today, damn its been a busy day. ready to sit back and burn one down. unfortunately, this is my last bud - sad day.

well tomorrow is chop chop and i get to spend a day in trim jail. honestly i hate trimming. i usually use some spring loaded shears, but i found some chikamasa b-500sf snips and im hoping there as good as im told they are. anyway, i snapped a few pics before the lights come on, showing some nice purples.

WHOO!! Havest. Is. Done.

and about time too, i sustained a minor neck injury (tis but a scratch) but after some much needed rest and proper pain killers i got’er done. once everything is dry ill post final weight for the phenos and well figure the efficiency, but enough pillow talk, on with the bud porn.

i split the trim in half, ran half into bho and the other half was thrown in the freezer and will be made into some bubble hash.

the bho yielded 4.2 grams. heavy pine and a peppery taste

Beautifull harvest, and about just in time too (well need to dry/cure first)

Thanks, I had to blast some bho cuz I ran out of smoke 5 days before chop chop. Which oddly happened the last cycle too.

the results are in! and i have to say im pretty pleased with the numbers.
A2 pheno - 2 plants yielded 193 dry
A3 pheno - 4 plants yielded 423 dry (A3 has more purple in the finished product, a trait i prefer)
totaling: 616 grams dry.

the cycle before this i yielded 579 - indicating an increase of 6.2%
considering i overfed and had a ph imbalance issue during flower, there is still efficiency to be gained

after 4 years - i finally have hit 1.16 gram per watt. excuse me while i burn down a victory joint.
