That Gorilla Fuck was some good weed. Someone sent me a little sample baggie a couple years ago. I can’t remember which canadian it was now but I remember the smoke.
How’s life treating you @SmokinJoeMGF , it’s good to have you around brother.

Got 3 DMT Dream going. One I vegged almost 4 weeks longer than the other. The one I vegged longer is friggin’ stout! Stinky too.

nice , I love seeing those hehe. @SmokinJoeMGF 's male DMT sure was a nice plant and he created some nice crossed with him before he was lost. Still some of my favorite plants over the past 8 years came from seeds he made. Darlin’s Net is still , hands down , a keeper favorite in my circles and several BC growers hold the line with no plans to let it go.
When Dawn Patrol made those DMT Dream f2’s I think he pollinated all the females in the pack so the seeds should be a good representation of the line in general. But ya… stocky plants with jurassic leaves and a unique sweet stank.
I did release Darlin’s Net Bx1 and there are a handful of packs left at GLG… people are really snoozing on those. I don’t really have plans to do any further breeding with those lines, I just want them around to grow for my personal stash

Well, I guess it’s been 3 weeks since i updated the bud run seedlings.
Here they are and the ones closest to camera are the sour bubbles and grape rock candy that were started a week later. The oldest seedlings are at day 30 from seed, younger ones are day 23 from seed. All of them are transplanted to “1 gallon” pots of Sunshine Mix 4 , ammended with agriculture grade Gypsum and Dolopril (3 to 1 ratio) and each mix got a dose of diatomaceous earth. The mix was wetted out with full strength nutrients , being General Hydro Flora 8mls Hardwater Micro and 16mls Bloom , PH’d to 6.8.
They get 2 feedings of water only then I begin the nutrient applications.
We are 12 days -ish from the flip on the first group of seeds popped

well some good news today… the friend who took on the mission of bringing back some of my mothers from the aphid infestation dropped by today.
I guess she dunked them every 3 days with a 5 gallon pail of End All and the next dunk of H202/alcohol/water/wetting agent alternating. So today she dropped by to raid one of my 50cal ammo cans of seeds and drop me off clean clones of those 6 plants that were saved.
So hopefully these get some rooters.
Oreoz, OGKB 2.0 , Long Valley Royal Kush(#5), GSC , island Pink and Mk Ultra will hopefully all root and be back in the stable.

Back in the fall, before the aphids hit I had handed off the Grape Pie and Mikado x Tropicanna Cookies F2 (#2) just to get some space in the grow room so those are doing well and I can call on cuts any time.
So I’m kinda pleased with how today went and it’s time for an afternoon coffee and a joint

That rarely happens but it is nice when it does.
Congrats on getting some stuff back.

@shag , Ya I had my doubts those plants would survive but it is amazing what can happen when someone dedicates some love care and attention. I went over every cutting with a magnifier and they look clean to me. Still, those will be in isolation for some time.
I am sad I lost the Chem D and the Slurricane, my verdant green bubba… one of my keeper long valley royals… my biker f3 mom… and all the seedlings I had popped… man I’m still pissed about that. So it’s still a major loss however… those clones are a ray of sunshine and we all know these ups and downs and just have to get over it and move on.
Lord knows I have seed for 3 lifetimes and friends to turn to , so I’m still blessed

Did you know our friend dankcat from the lab is doing tissue culture as a job now.
I hate to speak for anyone but I think our buddy @SmokinJoeMGF may be going to send him some stuff for preservation.
Something to consider in these changing times.

That is really cool.
Tissue Culture was an avenue I was exploring as well and was registered for an entry course but had to cancel. I should explore that again.

As I said before I have experience with hormones.
I do not have experience with sterilization.
But if you need advice hit me up.

yes it would be nice to be able to construct and operate a Canadian tissue culture clone bank.
Not sure I’m the guy to do that at my age but it would be cool to have a room set up for that purpose and a stasis fridge with backup powersupply… hmmmmm I need to win the lottery… then I would truly be able to realize all my cannabis growing dreams

Yes indeed, I am sending dank cat my current prized possessions. Should have already sent em but I’m waiting on a couple to branch enough.

Nice find!!!
I do have good IPM products … my problem was back during hunting season I took in some clones from a well meaning friend in september. Then i left my wife watering instructions and spent the next 6 weeks mostly away from home hunting. So during that time the aphids were doing thier thing, infesting every plant in the garden. That was a lot of plants in various stages of growth. By Christmas I had a aphid farm, not a cannabis garden.
I would nearly eradicate them and somehow they would come back. The adult fliers in the building in general were the problem I needed to eradicate.
In the end I just gave up and pulled the plug. Now I am on my IPM and though the usual present of thrips came with the sunshine mix 4 as they always do… there are no aphids in my grow. All my young plants are thriving and on schedule to get transplanted and flipped by the calendar I set out.
Be interested to hear about other’s IPM mixes though… can always teach an old (ish) dog a new trick

Sounds kinda like how I lost my dmt stud

ya I lost my prize long valley royal stud but luckily I saved over 20 pollen packs in the freezer so at least I can still work with him.
I found 8 original darlin’s net seeds in my stash not long ago too.
Still need to pop DMT Breath … got a couple packs of those on ice hehe
