well, things have been a bit rough over here so not much for updates the past week.
The wife has taken a holiday down to her mom’s. Losing the dog really messed her up as Lucy was a birthday gift from a good friend of ours. Home alone, it’s giving me some time to clear my head and get a pile of stuff done around here.
Modifying a boat trailer to my liking so the welder is out and all my metal fab tools.
Shortening the main beam and getting rid of the side rollers in favor of bunks with marine carpet on them. Going with treated wood so i have to fab up all the mounts and supports and I am fabbing up some brackets to weld onto the wheel fenders to mount the tail and turn lights too… then I have to open up the ass end of my Cherokee and custom splice a 5 wire trailer plug as they don’t make a plug and play for my 1989 anymore.
Anyways… none of that has anything to do with the garden LOL but I been busy.
Transplanted all the autos… the Azure Rockets all got cut. The beans might be too old because all the plants are runty mutants. Not how they were the first time I grew them so I dunno what gives there. So they are off the garden list.
So into #7 pots (approx 5 gallons) went the 4 Double Sour Diesel x GG4 Autos , 6 GG4 Fast Auto F5 … both of those are from @Great_lakes_Genetics and were freebies from DragboatJeff. Then there are 6 of @Tonygreen 's GG4 Fast Auto F4. All those autos are regulars so the males will be culled once they show. The closest plants in the pics are fem autos and are Durban Sunrise from Twenty20 and Double Grape from @GCBudz
then there are the Coastal Blueberry Females that will be getting up potted to 15 gallon totes. I miscounted and have 11 females but only 10 totes so I might have to put one in a 10gallon.
@Pigeonman you will be pleased to know that we managed to save the MK Ultra mother and she has been returned to me so I can up pot her and get her healthy for a wack of cuts.
and what else… the Friesland… not looking that great. I just could not get them happy under the HLG Bspec… maybe they needed way more calcium… I dunno but they will get transplanted into my outdoor mix and we will see what happens. I just want to run these to see when they will finish here. Hoping for late august but we will see.
I kept a really nice smelling male with a slightly tacky stem rub. Topped him and he will stay indoors. Pondering running the tent light schedule to mimic actual sunrise/sunset on him and that way I will also see when he triggers and what day length flowering initiates. I could put him outside in the yard somewhere but I do not want any stray pollen from him going anywhere so at least inside the exhaust is filtered.
Anyhow, next update everything will be transplanted, greenhouse organized and weeds/grasses removed… so till then!!!
Looks like you been busy to me. You mentioned rollers on the boat trailer. I witnessed 2, 26’ers that came off the rollers recently. The Hewes did ok being aluminum. The fiberglass Radon, not so good.
I sold my Hewes last month… hurt a little but I got good dollar for it so whatever.
I have no shortage of boats although… I had 5 , now I’m down to 3 as I sold the 14ft springbok as well LOL made a tidy profit on that one too!!
Once I’m done the trailer for my 12ft Harbercraft , I need to turn my attention to the Four Winns Freedom sitting in my yard. It’s trailer is not for this hull so I have some heavy mods to do. I may ditch the rollers and go for bunks on that one too but first I have to build cribbing and slide that 19 1/2 footer off the trailer onto the cribbing so I can work on it. That boat has a freshly rebuild 4.3liter , fully rebuilt with performance parts, new pistons, bored 40 over, roller rockers, electronic ignition… I’m pulling it and putting it up for sale with the outdrive and controls. Gonna fabricate the necessary “dog house” extended transom so I can run a 120HP outboard instead. Need the deck space and I’ve never been too keen on stern drives.
Good thing I have all the skills and tools for these jobs or it would just cost too much $$$.
My brother-in-law had a vintage Chris-Craft he actually left in the water. Lived in the bay in Newport Beach, Ca. He was an anesthesiologist. He could afford maintenance. Most boat owners, shouldn’t be. Owners that is. Just hire a qualified guide, or jump on a 6 pak charter. Safer.
The idea of owning your own boat is not the same as the reality.

The neighbor is coming over with his big logging tractor with the bucket arm and we are going to pull the engine the next decent weather day we get. Will cost me a jerry can of diesel so that’s not so bad.
Garden is starting to get organized over here. Few things left to do as far as weed wacking around the edges to get rid of the grass and weeds and then I need to put down some diatomaceous earth everywhere in the greenhouse. Too many ants for my liking and they can only lead to problems like aphids and such.
Here are some pics I took yesterday. The autos went straight from the solo cups to the #7 pots and seem to have handled that without slowing down. They also seem to be adapting well to the soil mix I made up which I am happy to see. I am new at growing autos so i am not sure if they look on track or not. One of the GG4 Fast Auto F4 is showing sex and is the tallest of all the seedlings. Not seeing any signs on others but I haven’t really checked them all yet. Yesterday was day 25 from sprouting

from top left to right , those three are Oreoz, Chimera Junky #1 and Long Valley Royal # 5 bottom from left to right GSC, Chimera Junky #2 , OGKB 2.0 and the bigger one is Island Pink Kush.
Can’t forget the MK Ultra which is starting to throw some real nice healthy shoots now so I am going to clone her and when i see roots the mature plant will be getting the axe.

I have ended up with extra plants that won’t have room or soil for adding to the greenhouse run so I gave a few away but still have 8 plants remaining… I just can’t bring myself to give them the axe so instead I am going to swap out the HLG 600 Bspec and hang the SF4000 in there and flip those bitches right there in the tent.
I have 2 x OGKB 2.0 , 2 x Long Valley Royal Kush #5, 1 x Island Pink Kush , 1 x NTCD x OG Kush, Darlin’s Net Six Gun cut and the runt Coastal Blueberry.
There are also 2 males close up to the left in the pic, one coastal blueberry and one friesland. Also in the pic is a tiny GSC clone , 2 Oreoz and a bushy Blueberry Muffin. I gave away an oreoz and the blueberry muffin to the gal who helped me saving my mothers. The other Oreoz and the GSC are destined for a fellow OG’s garden so they will be gone in a few days.
That leaves me with 7 clones to flower out plus the runty Coastal Blueberry which isn’t in the picture. So I guess I will have to transplant these to #5 pots and let em rip
Main flower room is ending week 5 tomorrow and looking awesome. Sucks about the HPS lighting… pics have orange glow and black bars so not worth posting them. I need to do a week 5 trimming and deleafing so will try and get some individual plants shots over the next couple days.
well… I went and changed gears again LOL
I found 3 or 4 males in the autos yesterday and yanked them… leaving me with 4 #7 pots full of extra dirt… so I moved the second Darlin’s Net outside and into a #7… The one Coastal Blueberry I was going to run inside … fuk it LOL I dumped the other 3 #7 pots into an older tote so we have 11 Coastal Blueberry females in 15gallons. Excited to see what they do.
So that leaves me with 6 plants in the tent which get flipped tonight under an SF4000
So that is the final spread for the greenhouse and the tent will be flowering 2 x OGKB 2.0 , 2 x Long Valley Royal (keeper#5) , 1 x Island Pink Kush and 1 x NYCD x OG Kush
I am going to make a large batch of seed with one of the Long Valley Royal Clones using the pollen from the frosty male … I have pollen from a friend that reversed the pink line so I will use that on the Van Isle Pink for some S1 seed and I’m going to make a larger batch of OGKB 2.0 S1 using one of the ogkb 2.0 clones and pollen from the freezer.

Doing the Coastal Blueberry grow n show in my sponsor thread but everything else I got going on in here.
I was trying to get some pics of my Sour Bubbles but the HPS lighting makes it really difficult and I don’t have a filter for my camera. One smells awesome, the other doesn’t smell that strong but both plants are really nice and look pretty much the same. I need to pull them so I can tie up some branches and do some minor defoliation below the canopy so i will try and get some pics when I do that.

I found an extremely nice male. He has literally everything. I feel so blessed everytime I check on him.
Vigor, branchiness, strong resin production, and by far the most terps out of all my males. Very stingy lime then a milky dankness hits you in the background.
I stressed everyone in this tent out and hes the only one that stood tall.
@CARE_giver , yes those males that just stand out from all the rest. When they come along they are treasures that’s for sure. Looks like a nice plant you got there man
@Pigeonman … Summer heat is coming … the MK Ultra mom is shooting lots of really healthy sprouts with nice stems for cloning. I’m tempted to just take a bunch of snips and send them your way rather than wait to root them… I suck at cloning LOL

been busy over here the past few days. Modifications to my boat trailer are near complete but man, my body hurts so today is a day of rest LOL
Garden is doing it;s thing. I still have to finish cleaning up inside the greenhouse. There are stacks of empty pots and other random things that need to be removed before the plants blow up. Steady growth from everything and all the plants seem to be liking my reammended recycled soil mix. I was pondering this year’s mix and I guess this makes 6 years I have been adding to and reusing that pile of soil. Keep it simple… seems to work
anyhow here is where things are at today.
First up is Irene (top left) , GG4 S1 in bondage training on the right and the closer one is Death Bubba… a brand new addition to the line up that arrived last friday.
Last pic for today is kind of a whole garden shot showing the back 2/3rds of the greenhouse with the Autos on the right in #7 pots , 11 Coastal Blueberry in the blue totes and down the middle in the #2 pots are clones I don’t know what to do with but might start light depping them. I was going to flower them in the tent inside but figured fuck it… greenhouse they go.
I might up pot some of them to #7 pots if more males show up in the autos
