Aftermarket fan clip

Is anyone else using these?
So much better than the stock clip that most 6 inch fans come with.

I probably will if you give up the supplier!

I have a couple like the one on top and have just learned to live w/ em… but these are nice!

Got them at my local grow shop. Not much info on the packaging.
I’ll take a pic of the back of the tag.

If you take an old rubber surgical glove :gloves: and cut a piece out of one and wrap it around the pole before you put the fan clip over it, the fan will stay in place and will not slide 🛝 down the pole.:+1::facepunch::sunglasses::peace_symbol:

DIY option. Cutting the ends off of the zip ties makes sharp edges.

I have done this and it does work.

Having a cable puller or “fourth hand” tool is also quite nice:

If you use pliers or kliens and twist them around and around till it twists off it elevates the sharp end you get when you cut them off. Plus they will cut the shit :poop: out of you as well, believe me as electrician we use a lot of zip strips.:facepunch::+1::sunglasses::peace_symbol:

Sure am, love them.

That’s why you cut them bitches flush with the lock. I frequently work under dump trucks.
We utilize some beefy zip ties regularly.
I will absolutely lose my shit when one cuts me.
Same with tails everywhere. Lol

I work low voltage and cut zip ties all day. Less bending and twisting in the tent :+1:. Plus it’s an effective OCD trigger.

These would be your best friend.
