Please post. I could use the inspiration.

This is a photo from last week. This week is the start of week 4. Day 28 is Wednesday. Literally herm seeds. The plant that my buddy hermed still smoked very amazing so I kept the seeds in my bag. I’ll get better photos when light comes on.

Thanks growmie, it’s starting to stink so good .I’m no camera man & the light messes with the photo quality but I’ll snap a really good photo soon .I’m proud of this grow so far.

I had some that looked like that. I think they did better when I cut off many of the tiny inner and lower branches, the ones with just a tiny bud on the end that aren’t really reaching up to the light at all. I think they are big energy sinks for the plant.

Suggest you remove those (10-15% of the total plant), and dose with a bloom fertilizer.

I know I should prune harder. I have been getting more ruthless lately but still not there I know. Thus the screen name. I’m new to the soil game so I didn’t figure on such a high fertilizer demand. Just started occurring to me when they got over 5 foot that they needed something extra. Now I’m playing catchup.

I would be proud too. Looks pretty dialed in!

I found this hilarious and laughed for five minutes because relatable lol

No criticism intended from me - plenty of leaves, larf, and popcorn over here. In general I prune very little, and remove only the absolute minimum of leaves to get some air into the center of the plant, or a few to steer growth. On most plants I don’t notice it making a difference to remove the little branches. I think it’s only when they are stretched to the edge of their resources that it matters. It seems that way with fruit trees in my yard.

I like to leave the lowers and popcorn to pollinate after harvesting the rest. Got to have some fan leaves down there too if it’s going to work well.

Just sharing my unsolicited 2 cents  because you seemed unhappy and I had some plants that looked just like yours, and after I cut down 3/4 of the plant, the quarter I had left for seed plumped up beautifully :exploding_head: so the second time I got plants like that I winced with every cut but made myself reduce the number of branches, and I dumped extra fertilizer on them. The remaining branches made better bud. Still, I can’t say for certain that it raised the total production.

I didn’t take it as criticism. I know you’re spot on correct. I guess I just needed to hear it. I’ll try and break out the fiskars tonight.

I’m not good at identifying specific deficiencies, but I do think they look hungry, and I’d feed them a modest dose of a bloom fertilizer with some N. Or pour some diluted milk or coffee on them
