All herm seed run. Wish me luck!

trying worm casting tea. Day 65 or day 26f made w/ a paint strainer bag from Home depot. $6 for 2 of them

Those girls are crazy. Love seeing that fast growth. Goooooood LORD!

I have experienced yellowing leaves fast in bloom with ammended soil, I was feeding fresh water at 7.0 or higher pH. I got alkaline toxicity… I was told.

The “BIBLE” helped me out so much with ammendments… I added some worm castings on top and pH’d my water and it helped. Did not fix it but also taught me some things. Good luck sir!

That tent is BOOOMING!!

Ph-ed in organic soil? I just started to pay attention to my ph. My tap comes out about 7. I’ve been adjusting to 6.4 last few watering only. What ph did you adjust to?
And yea they got away from me a little. I can’t tell what the tops look like anymore without a stool

Pushing your luck has never looked this promising!

I had high hopes that the smaller soil bags I used with dry ammendments would take care of all the pH issues… no sir haha. I aim for 6.5 and that has seemed to help a lot.

I kept scrolling through your feed and was like they are bigger… oh wow they are even bigger… oh my God those are HUUUUGE

Great work sir!

Thank you! But it’s the beans. Started with the 4 and both males and females were massive and similar in every way. I am having good luck with Dr. Earth dry ammendments. They just couldn’t take these 5 footers all the way in 5 gallon of soil.

That’s been my exact experience - the handful of times I’ve unexpectedly gotten 5 footers, 5 gallons of soil and some organic fertilizer just wasn’t enough. Last time I got 4 footers I literally set my bags on top of other bags and let them grow roots right through. Dumping absurd amounts of fertilizer on them early on helped too. Still didn’t get the best bud off them though. Then I upped the organics in my soil and fried some things. Now I’m trying to do a good job of dialing in the container and soil to the plant, but that’s a bit tricky for unknown crosses.

Worm tea seems like a great move. Hope you get an awesome harvest!

Thank you for the support Rain. Maybe tea is smarter than overdoing dry ferts. Anyway it’s mostly the proximity to the lights that has them sad because shady sections look way better.

stacking nice. hoping for some dense donky dicks all flopping around in 3 more weeks

and ya im sure those tops arent loving the heat of those lights. but what can you do. live and learn

Rt now 4 weeks in I’m guessing 10 jars total from both.
And a seasons worth of firewood.
In other news I can recommend ac infinity Nursery bags. Clones already rooting out the bottom a few days after showing roots in starter cubes

Yup can’t be helped…they do look dense to me tho.
I’m thinking maybe 4-6 weeks tho. I only flipped 28 days ago. We’ll see how it goes with this mystery bud. Thank you for following!
Edit: I’m starting to see the slightest foxtail from the lite

You could try some supercropping to bend those tops down, assuming you don’t have a dimmer you could use to turn the lights down a little. Another thing that can help is a fan aimed at the level of the lights to cool the air in that area and help the plant keep cool.

Got good air movement. Actually have 4 fans going. 1 at driver height
1 at diode/canopy.height, 1 on the floor blowing up. All 9 inch. And 1 12 inch fan outside the tent blowing into a lower duct sock. All leaves moving slightly. I’d back off the dimmer but I’m only running at 420 watts including 45 watts side lites. That seems low for 4x4.

I did a few of the tallest but it’s a little late to go ham at this point

The plants look great maybe could use some more N. I’ve been using the same soil over and over and over. I started adding worm casting and a brick of coir on each run. Also I started using Sensi Bloom A,B, Sensi Bloom Big Bud (K booster) and Bud Candy (sugars and a little N). Those three bottles actually set the PH of the water automatically at about 6.3 using a system called “ph perfect” you never have to mess with it, just add the fert from the bottles to the tap water and the ph takes care of it self. It makes it so easy and there is no question you get it right. Since I’ve started this (i mix it at 80% strength) I have not had any trouble with burnt tips, yellowing or floppy plants. You’ve done such a good job, very impressive. Another game changer with plant health was “Regalia” an additive that boosts plants health. I add to all cuttings and seedlings and it ensures they grow up with no bacteria or virus issues,

Yea I know they want N. I’m trying to stay full organic so I’ve been adding ewc tea last couple days. It won’t fix the leaves but maybe it’ll keep the bud stacking.ill topdress again in the next couple days also. Never grew 5 foot plants before just trying to bring it in for a landing without casualties. Thanks for hanging!

One of the main sources of my N comes from planting beans in the same pots, doesn’t matter how late it is, they will fix N out of the air and store it in the soil for the next plant. And even this plant too if you let her flower another month. Beans grow very fast because they create their own nitrogen, plus excess that feeds the nearby plants.

You can also topdress with nettle and mint tea, freshly cut grass, and whatever kitchenscraps you may be comfortable topdressing with.
The more diverse the better.

A little bit of everything makes sure it doesn’t start stinking because many different organisms keep eachother in check. Each plant and part of a plant has its own legion of specialized microbes that break it down.

Different kinds of fungi will emerge depending on what you add.
When you add a lot of one thing then only that one specialized deconstruction team will emerge and produce lots of their specific mix of gasses that get released from the decomposition.

The more different ones are active at once, the more it smells pleasantly like a forest.

Edit: took another look at the pics and I’m not sure, they might be getting too much N actually, burnt tips and curling downwards, can’t say for sure…
That’s decent size buds already, they don’t need all their leaves in tact to keep swelling.
It’s good that they use the energy of their leaves, better that it goes to the buds than just stay unused. Feels strange to me to harvest when all the leaves are still green.

I like seeing them get a little fucked up first, gotta appreciate the decay as well, it’s what creates new life.

How far from the finish line do they look to you bub? Maybe I won’t feed em heavy again. I know it looks like nitrogen tox and deficiency at the same time. The yellowing is all worst in high light areas. Edges look fine. Even some leaves that yellowed on one side and lush green where they’re shaded by a bud.
