Ch Hannibal Lector and Shejack2 are litter mate bro and sis. Danger and Shejack are their father and mother and are themselves littermate bro and sis. So knowing this you can fill in the unknowns on the bottom side.

Guys, here’s a Champion Tosa Inu - also called the Tosa-Ken or Japanese Mastiff - from 1967. Now, I was wondering if the Tosa is the result of crossing the original Bulldog and various Japanese breeds, or simply a cross between the Bulldogs and Mastiffs imported into Japan from England, Ireland, etc.? Honestly, think it has nothing to do with any of the Japanese breeds…

Ever read about the molossian/Roman war dogs? I think I read they came from Asia, are long gone, weighed 400lb, & supposed to be the ancestor of all mastiff breeds. ?
Interesting to see in the article that they resembled something like a Great Dane & large boned Saluki cross…

I’ve read about those dogs back in the day but a good ole American Bull Terriers are my breed…Here’s Habanero Kidd at his summer weight 43#.
