An easier method for reversing using straight silver nitrate

Ugh oh, someone didn’t listen when Mr Wonka when he said not to smoke the blueberry strain that was injected with silver nitrate…

Looks like my attempt did not work. More operator error than anything.

I think the little stems were too old/woody/small. I couldn’t find a hollow centre and always had back pressure.

Maybe on a younger cut - fresher/greener stem - I would have had better results. Looks like I’ll have to spray and try this again in future.

Still intrigued… also have a pack of syringes now… so have to use those for something!

I think I may have read this whole thread at different times but may have missed some… has anyone tried this on an auto flower yet? I’m wondering with how much faster it works it may make selfing it more efficient, it seems people reccomend reversing one auto and pollinating another due to the short time frame.

You could combine injecting with STS spraying, this is how I got my woody plant to turn… I injected it as best I could and then only sprayed it once or twice and it grew balls. Not a once only treatment yet but still a LOT easier that every day spraying…

not yet, im about a week or less out from trying.

Awesome! That will be interesting for sure

Agreed - mixed up some STS and sprayed yesterday. Will spray again in a week.

Last time it only took 2 sprays to fully turn so we’ll see if I have the same results with a different varietal.

Wonder what would happen if you used colloidal silver instead of distilled water to mix and inject lol

plan to test that as well, cause was thinking the same thing

I’m just finding this thread and it’s really interesting, especially since I haven’t tried any reversing yet and this would change my mind.

@slain, regarding the woody main stems, do you think you might be able to inject it into the joint of a node? Sometimes a green ball sort of forms at the node joint. Maybe a needle could reach the center of the main stem through that fleshy spot.

Thanks for all of the research. It’s very cool. Best vibes and I’m here to read the rest. peace

Hehehee. I know the feeling.

My AgNO3 will be here in another week or two. Where you getting the syringe/needle? I assumed I could just buy one at a pharmacy. Is that correct?

Honestly I want nothing to do with needle part… I ordered insulin needles on wish. The gf refused to go to the pharmacy to get one. She will be doing the injecting cause I’m a little baby around needles, even just seeing em

:fearful:!

I’m not squeamish about them, I have just never had a use for one.

WTF is wish?

I don’t mind going and getting them at the pharm. Can anyone just buy them off the shelf, or do you need to ask at the prescription counter, or what?

It’s the best , worst place to buy any chinese junk you never wanted. If it’s late, “broken” or not as advertised it’s free…

Pretty sure you just ask the pharmacist for an insulin needle… worked with a guy on steroids and that’s what he did

Yes you can buy syringes in any pharmacy, I buy them often.

But don’t ask for just the one, diabetics usually order more than that.
I’m not diabetic btw, at least to my knowledge, but I get them to measure my nutrients and other stuff.

I order 10ml and 1ml, ten of each at the time.
