An envelope method of sending cuts(unrooted), potentially across the border

Yeah… I worried when the sticks were broken. Squishhh!

I’ll do better next time. Do they make titanium chopsticks? Would that throw a wrench in their rollers? Hahahah.

Hey @Rhino_buddy just an update on the cuts. I’m pretty sure one of them is going to make it, especially if Romulan isn’t a nightmare to root. I’ve never grown it, not a clue but have heard she’s vigorous.

Gave a little foliar spray this morning, hopefully gives them some sustinence. They’ve been under the dome for 18 hours so far.

The romulan can take forever to root, but they do root. Keep at it, the romulan is worth it!

Not exactly what I wanted to hear

That’s what I wanted to read :cowboy_hat_face:

@Rhino_buddy actually sent romulan twice to me because we didn’t think the first ones would make it, but they did! Keep them moist and humid and once they root, they take off like crazy. They are well worth the patience.

They look okay. So yellow! I can’t wait to get @ifish’s recommendations implemented. Thats Going to make a world of difference.

Foliar is a good plan, and I agree. That romulan cut is one of my favorites so far. Definitely keep me posted on their status. I’d be happy to try again.

Thanks for your input @JustANobody . Can’t wait to see you finish her up. Especially with seeds.

I think it makes a huge difference. Some P and K, some extra auxins, maybe a little thiamine. BTW your package of momma boost is leaving today and should arrive soon :sunglasses:

What’s the origin story on it? I was so excited I forgot to ask how you got her :grinning:

I really appreciate it man.

It’s fun growing cannabis. I’ve grown tons of native plants, and they basically want the shittiest dirt available. If you have excess nutrient, or some ag run off, the non native stuff will fail compared to the early successional, unwanted non natives. They just eat up the nutes and go gangbusters.

Anyway, that tactic doesn’t work for cannabis. They like to eat. Appreciate you @FieldEffect . Thanks for sharing. Hopefully this will help us all succeed.

I already gave my mom’s some flowering nutes since your messages. Hopefully it’s a good start for a long road of sending heathy, lush, green snips. Thanks again for your help @ifish , and everyone. :green_heart::seedling:

Out of curiosity what is your bloom feed npk ratio ? And do you add calmag or calcium nitrate

The big flat part is about .015"thick its big enough to fold around and cover the top. No hinge its just a big flat plate , it fold easy with a little heat.
Wen closed it should be 0.22 thick

Yes it will fit in envelope, its 6"x2.75"

Here’s what I’ve got for bloom nutes right now.

I do use calmag in my flower tent. I have some

I’ll start adding some to the moms.:v:

Also got some sea-k coming from a friend to try out. Up the potassium a bit more.

Good call. Hahah. I know it’s a lightweight metal, but probably not that light.

Super curious to see how that works.

That is 1/2/1 so only pushing p
Because of the extra n in calmag or cal nit the total will be more like 1.5/1.5/ 1 kind off ( low k )

Buy some pk 13/14 to add as supliment to push total closer to 1/1.5/1.5 for moms and in flower add pk so total 1/2/2 1/3/3 1/4/4 w3-8

Or if you want to splash out 1/3/2 jacks

Here is a guide to buying nutes

1/1/1 is same as 10/10/10
The difference is concentration

Using 1/1/1 you have to add 10ml to reach said target
But with 10/10/10 you only need 1ml

So if both bottles are 10 dollars a litre the 10/10/10 is better value ( 10x )

Powder salts are usually most concentrated best value as you not paying for water

Jacks 10/30/20 ( 1/3/2 ) is good and their 5/10/25 ( 1/2/5 )
30/30/30 is another ( for stretch ) or greening up )

Check out the octopot guys grow sheduals
