Just a Mo hunter here. We have a rough cabin on 80 acres in the middle of no where. Some bigger bucks, lots of does and they eat better!’

Bo know hunting!

I started in high school, and progressed when my wife and I were both in school. We put away around 10 deer a year to keep in meat. I shot what I could and had family donate several. In all, I have 2 bucks to my name and who knows how many does. If I see a doe, I don’t wait to see if a buck is following, I shoot! We have way too many and the does taste much better.

Yeah it was pretty funny Mark’s boy went to school bragging about how he knows Bo and that he was around.
Everybody was calling him a liar till Bo shows up at high school one day.
A little jock shock if you will

yes sir, well aged and grilled to perfection. I prefer a little pecan wood on the grill also. That gives it the nice smoky flavor.

I wish I could have been there when Bo showed up. :joy:

Plenty of public land around you, then?

That’s what I hunt 99.9% of the time. Millions of acres of it here in BC. I can’t imagine hunting private land all the time. The only private land hunt I ever do is for elk up north in Jan/Feb. It’s more of a population control type of hunt. The rancher even collects it from the field and loads it into our truck with his front-end loader. My daughter won a tag for that this year.

Lol we found warm deer shit there, so i scraped up the tree, poured doe stank around then set up the cam. I went in the next day to sit in the block fir a few hours. On my way in I found deer hair filled shit, so i guess he found it first. Walked into there in the dark this morning aswell. I may have to buy a cat tag, cause I’m not seeing any deer
