I was at OG I was in the Low Stress Training thread by Musical Notes, reading along with it for a long time, several months, and went to many other threads there, it was a fantastic place at the time.
We were all bummed out when it was taken down.
Low Stress Training was defined and really, for pot, invented there in a sense.
The control of plants’ shapes by Auxin, the main hormone of the Auxin family,
The fact some plants respond better to it than others do,
The fact that the flatter the canopy is, the more buds turn on to their full potential,
pretty much everything related to Low Stress Training was sorted out there, the guys even named it low stress training formally in that thread.
I’m pretty sure, Musical Notes was the guy’s name who started that thread.

I lurked mostly but posted a few grows on here and waytoomany back in the day… I think I may still have some seeds I traded someone back then haha. was still using 56k that was only running at like 22k internet then hahaa

Grew back in early 2000’s and posted here and on Icmag. I THINK I was SOLGarion here but may have been SonOfSally as I am on Icann. Even got a copy of international cannagraphic number 1 signed by Gypsy Nirvana somewhere.
Mostly grew BOG stuff. Got a lot of his seeds from seedbay or something like that I believe. Was doing stealth grows in a c-22 with a 400w HPS and as my new spider farmer led rig can attest, times have changed. I rememebr mocking cfl and led use outside veg or mothering chambers. And lowryder/autos BARELY being a thing. A whole new world and I cannot wait.

I am an Original Overgrow member. I went to prison in march 2003. I had no idea what had happened to overgrow until 2009.
I posted as eyeonyou and paranoidpete. (I was always in trouble, lol) I have an article in the original grow fax under the Food Soil Web, co-authored by Dr Elaine Ingham, a colleague of mine. The world has changed quite a bit since then. Some things for the better.

I confess I probably would not be here if I had not run into a serious problem that I could not solve.
Back then, Overgrow was vital to the survival of the underground growers. We cheered each other on. Everything was about stealth and “beating the man” lol.
There are boundless resources now, and a government ready to embrace legalization. It’s been a truly amazing ride.

I was here before in 04’ or 05’ trying to setup a menagerie of lights Hp’s, and a street light I found out later was lps and fluorescent.
With the help from the site I was able to limp through a couple of grows with some meager results but we smoked it so it wasn’t too bad.
Some of the advice back then was over my head but I was grateful all the same, I thought the site had something to do with the Canadian fella that was behind the bc bud and had the super store selling all kinds of hemp products.
