looks like its a Biscotti x Bad Girl cross thats incredibly stable / ibl. im wondering if it would be a good mother plant for breeding projects. Ive been playing around with s1s and want to introduce something with genetic consistency, a strong backbone for breeding projects
has anyone run her?
this is an old thread, but i am running the girl crush f2. it is super unstable. looks like it will finish before the earliest of their harvest window. it sucked as a plant. it doesn’t eat right. smallish nugs. super stretchy in veg with like 3 inch nodes. i usually get about 1 inch nodes. bud quality is almost the same from top to bottom of plant, so that is good.
Why that one? They have stable selfies like arcata if u like piney lemony side.
agreed. i grew two phenos and they were both pretty underwhelming. big fan of Twenty20 in general but this one wasnt their best work. super odd too because they explicitly marketed it as stable. its the only photoperiod ive run of theirs. makes me think theyre a great auto breeder and an ok photo breeder
ive got a ton of other gear in this space and ive had great success with their autos in the past so it wasnt a complete waste of an order
i have their trainwreck arcata. it’s ok. smells like floor cleaner. buds are just ok looking. sort of looks like 90s or early 2k buds…almost skunk/afghan style. it got pretty big. it took 3 seeds to get a plant…they wouldn’t pop. i planted one of them in a soil and it came up over a month later. i gave that to a friend and will see it later.
I was underwhelmed with their auto. There glue sniffer auto was called Muchacha. It’s was midsy. But their side car auto which was basically a trainwreck kush was very very good. And the glue sniffer photo from them I’m growing now is gorgeous. It looks nothing like the auto version of it though. Their glue sniffer is very very stable and uniform. So far it’s hit and miss from them as far as genes go.
thats funny. i grew muchacha as well. so my thoughts on girl crush (photo) were that it could have been way better. i felt underwhelmed by the potential, especially since twenty20 has such a solid reputation. i was looking for a keeper and it wasnt any of the phenos i got. on the otherhand i really liked muchacha (auto). its one of those long running autos. in my area its really hard to keep a plant from immediately flowing if you put her outside so the extra long autos let me eek out a decent harvest without supplemental lighting. ive grown probably 6 of them now and liked most of them.
im a photo guy myself, i prefer clones since theyre more predictable but my outdoor plants are almost exclusively autos at this point. that seems like its twenty20s target market (long running autos for the backyard)
i ran it last round. i have the f2 version. it grew really weird. super stretchy during veg, then not so much in flower. hard nugs from top to bottom no larf and i didn’t do a clean up. very dense nugs. like over 1.5 oz fit in a quart jar easy. smell is very batter-like, biscotti forward. the nugs looked really good…like really nice, almost like emerald clusters. it also didn’t like light very much, so the top looked a little fried. smoke tastes great, skunky pine with that biscotti thing…not sure if it’s the Whip that makes it like that, but i just assumed it was the biscotti cakey taste.
