Whats up Overgrow folks. This thread is going to be focused on my 2x4 flower tent in which I plan to grow crosses that have parents from current or recent “hype” strains… Im going to start the thread with @SamwellBB Purple Poison Cookies because in my opinion it contains the mother of all hype!!! COOKIES… What I need from fellow OG members is suggestions on which hyped up strains to buy for further runs? Maybe some badass S1s from CSI? I know he did the GSC among one or two other hype cuts. Im down for any suggestions. Politics removed…I dont give a shit about that. What hyped packs you guys what to see ran? Ethos? Lol. Freeborn? Suggest anything!!!

I’d throw out some kind of gelato cross, can probably find something good there from cannarado. He seems to use a lot of the hype strains in his crosses, but he doesnt seem to get the negativity a lot of other breeders get that come along w working w hype strains…

Modern hype strains that were completely unknown to me 5-6 years go off the top of my head: Zkittlez, Runtz, Gelato, Wedding Cake, Sherbert, MAC, GMO, Do-Si-Dos. I see them pretty much everywhere now… Gorilla Glue and GSC were around back then and were hype, but I guess they kind of stood the test of time if they still generate so much interest.

Plan is to grow out some stuff i would normally turn my nose up at. I figure, what can be so bad about trying some of the cool kid hype shit. If i find a keeper thats cool. If not, oh well.

Exotic genetics , archive seeds , dying breed and rare darkness are some of the most out of control booths at the expos. Huge lines , huge prices , always sold out fast and tons of hype. I would look into some of those breeders if you want some hype new new that will also result in some good if not great plants. Strains I’d look at
Rare darkness - the ox
Archive seeds - cake face or dosi cake
Exotic genetics - power sherb or runtz crosses
Dying breed - lemon Gucci
I myself would consider some authentic top dawg packs also but there getting harder to find.
