As the title exclaims…does anyone have experience popping those 
It’s cherry season here and I’ve always wanted to get one started though I know I’ll never get fruit based on my climate. But damn every seed I saved and tried to either sow, germ in water or we towel, or even the recommended way in the freezer or fridge and then germing/planting never shot a tail. Any experience here?

And she had a tattoo on her face and neck(personally not into and find trashy though it was a feather and maybe I could deal with that idk). I think I shouldve at least asked if she was single then for # bc she was super duper fine. But the face tattoo was throwing me off. Did I fuck up?

I have multiple cherry trees we get a couple to 4 new ones every year. We need nets. And a bear wrecked half of one the older trees. We put a strap around it. Seems to have worked so far.
I popped several when I was young

We have a Montmorency Cherry tree, or tart cherries.
Monty’s do not need a pollinator tree, or a male and female tree, they self pollinate.
After you munch a few cherries, clean the pulp off the pit, place them in your freezer for 8-10 weeks.
Then put them into some medium like any seed, and sprout them.
Let them grow, a foot or 2, and transplant them.
We picked a total of 105 pounds of tarts this season, and pitted 45+ pounds for uses until next season.
We gave away SO MANY boxes this year!
Where we pick up our CSA share, boxes (quart) of cherries were $9.00.
Cherries are not usually grown from seed.
Cherries, when grown from seed, don’t breed true. In other words, they won’t give the plump sweet and juicy cherries their parentage tree gave. So you would have to grow out possibly hundreds of cherry pits to get a few worthwhile cherry trees that perhaps may have other bad characteristics you didn’t anticipate on or expect.
To grow cherry trees, a suitable root stock cherry tree that will grow in your climate is chosen. This grafting stock is then grown to the desired height (for high cherry trees, this would equate to doing a graft above 2m, for low cherry trees it could easily be as low as 20 cm). A branch is cut off and prepared by cutting it in a certain way, and then a scion (growing shoot neatly cut to fit the receiving end) from a cherry species that gives plump sweet or sour cherries (your preference) is grafted (held together and then taped around) onto the grafting stock. When the scion (or scions, not necessarily from 1 species) has (have) taken, the remaining branches of the grafting stock are removed and it will keep growing the newly taken scion branch(es). The way of grafting used can differ from grafter to grafter; I believe my own cherry trees (I bought some, was gifted others) are grafted with either a straight diagonal cut or a diagonal Z cut.
I think not, but if you notice you keep thinking about it and happen to run in to her again, I bet you will take a different action. Though if you meet another hottie tomorrow, who knows, you may just wake up tied to a bed with a pegging stick up your butt.
I’m kidding of course, though also, anything can happen. What are the odds of this lady and her kid being a positive addition to your life and you being a positive addition to both their respective lives? It’s a rhetorical question but not one that I have any inclination towards any answer, aside a disregarded note about the being on drugs you don’t like thing being a real possibility, and only disregarded because it’s a maybe so kind of leave it up to your judgement.
I’d say it ultimately comes down to how you feel about it/her. At the very least you could’ve made a friend possibly a smoke buddy. At the other end of the spectrum, you could’ve possibly found more… but then again…she could be quietly be a serial killer lol.

I can tell you I don’t. I’ve sowed a lot of [wild oat] seeds in my time, but have never popped a cherry. It’s one of my life regrets.
Thank you all for the replies to both topics here. I will try the 8-10 weeks in the freezer again and see how it goes at least for fun. I think I did 2 months last time.
We can grow barbados cherries here and jabuticaba which is more like a grape. I’ve got sour orange root stock that grows perfect here I wanted to use at some point, if it will take I’ll try it.
Had some great laughs from yall regarding the lady. And a few serious thoughts as well. If I see her again and feel that energy I will likely act on it and see from there.
Many times I feel like people follow me around and try to set me up for different things. Sometimes verified. This stops me from reaching out many times. A few on OG 
I have some terrible old conniving friends who invested quite a lot to try and fuck me over likely bc of their own issues as they tend to prey upon anyone can manipulate.
I ironically have close ties to someone(and their family) who assisted a pretty famous serial killer where I live and wonder how far their sociopathy rolls. I hope to get away from them one day, pass along my knowledge to those who need it and never look back.
