Hi,
is here somebody who know, how accurate is GemmaCert? I am looking for easy machine for testing samples. We have limit here 0,3% THC. I checked another device for 700USD and it was 20-25% different than labs, so not useable for me… This GemmaCert is on youtube and lab test was 22,9% THC and machine showed 23,7 THC. 0,8% different, it is only 3,5% miss.
Looks great, but price is 5000USD and video is from official youtube channel… So if is here anybody with some feedback, please send me reply here.
Here they showing +/- 10% accuracy, it is really good. If my plants will show 0,27% - I am still under 0,3% (… I am really interested to buy it next year
They should be using laboratory “standards” when comparing the accuracy between lab tests and any particular machine. “Standards” are purchased consumables that have been formulated with specific and verifiable chemistry.
Simply using product samples to compare methods (such as flower) can lead to significant inaccuracies that might show either good or poor correlation which could be misleading. Try to find test results from the use of “standards”. The manufacturers should be able to provide such information.
Ok, I will look, first I will write to Royal Queen seeds, they have this machine in every coffeshop in Spain and Holland.
