If you want to keep it small stick w/ the 5-7 gallons. Plants can easily top 5 feet in a 1 gallon pot…TBH if you saw a mature plant in a 1 gallon Id bet you would think it was a 5…in a 5 gallon those things will hit the greenhouse roof.
Pillows! Yeah I’m on a different level, 4 plants and just me smoking. That pic would last me for years. Mad respect for the time and effort it would take to germinate/ start from clone then cultivate, battle the enemies (bugs and rippers) dry, trim, burp process. I have been growing outdoors in the same environment for 9 years and I have had to deal with rain, wind, wildfires, smoke, ash hail, snow and catapillars, voles. Out of those 9 years 2 had summers that went until late October. Those were my best years, harvest the tops and let the lowers finish. I am going to attempt a light dep set up this year, I want to beat the weather and the catapillars this year.
Holy shit. I haven’t had a chance to hop online much the hrs I’m working rn. This thread went crazy lol. Thanks tonall for your input and suggestions.
I did do a perelite/peatmoss/ FF ocean Forrest. Mix. Along With some plain ass rocks out of my yard in the bottom lol. Finally got the strain info. They’re “breakfast cake” haven’t had time to research it yet. To see if it’s even a known strain. But they seem to be enjoying the 5gal for now. We’re due for about another week of possible frosts. And per most everyone’s opinion they will either stay where they are. Or go in the ground in a few weeks.
Transplanted them 6 days ago from the red solos. Huge root balls forgot to take a lic
Edit. Older growth lies below this post. Didn’t upload to this one for some reason

If you can only have 2 plants, then you want to go with the largest container you can get. If you think you might have to move them, be mindful that soil can get heavy.
