Athena Nutrients feeding schedule

G’day guys, so after talking to a good friend over here I chucked in some money for a couple of litres of athena blended grow&bloom.
It was really reasonable cash wise and they’re supposed to be quality nutrients.
So we’ll soon find out!
Now before my accident I had a mate that basically wrote out a feeding schedule for me that I don’t have any more.
It put the ppm level per week which got progressively stronger through veg to flower.
It worked like a charm.
So after looking at athena schedule it’s not as straightforward.
Has anyone got a schedule they’d share with me?
I need basically a ball park figure to aim for per week of veg &flower.
It would be a huge help so I can get a decent result.
Thanks in advance guys your help is always seriously appreciated!
Peace :v: C

Athena has the blended line feed schedule on their site. It breaks down per week what your PPM should be. It can’t get easier. Remember it’s just a starting point, everyone’s setup is different so you can tweak it to your liking.

Yeah. On first glance it suggests cutting flower ferts pretty fast at the end of flowering. Which is fine, just seems excessive to me.

That’s a hot feed guide , also like @Foreigner said strange to drop ppm so early

Thanks guys I’ll have to write out a weekly list as with my eyesight charts and tables are a bit tricky for me but I will get it done!
So what do you mean by a hot schedule? And with the flower nutrients is there another suggestion to the levels? I just want to get it right as best as I can, hopefully they produce some quality but I know it’s not just about the nutrients but more of a collection of things like environment, temps, lighting etc so I’m really going to give it a red hot go.
Seeing as I’m just going with the one female hopefully I can get the most out of her.
Thanks again for the guidance guys! Peace :v:

In veg I don’t go higher than 400 -450 ppm
Stretch I don’t go higher than 550 ppm
In early flower 600
Rest of flower 750 max
And last 2-3 weeks 550 decreasing to 400 at very end
Then chop

Don’t apply the same logic to Athena nutrients as you would any other nutrient line. Athena is super clean pharmaceutical grade salts, that’s why you can run high EC/ PPM. The plants will take the higher EC. You are training the plants to take that amount of nutrients. Flushing is bro science it’s been proven in the lab. Follow Athena’s chart and you will be fine, only take advice about Athena from people using the line.

Also take into account the charts are made with large facilities in mind with grow environments dialed in running co2. Those setup are more demanding on the plants metabolism so if you see the plants don’t like the high PPM dial it back a little.

@Randomtask , just curious , why do clean pharmaceutical grade nutes mean plant can take higher ppm , not second guessing , just love learning new things : )

It’s a purity standard, so I would assume elements aren’t bound to impurities and instantly accessible and ready to be absorbed in the root zone.

Here’s an interview with Athena.

@ 33:12 your question is asked.

not sure they answered that question
What I got was the recommendation of pro ppm will put you in danger zone and you can push the other one to same ppm if you like no difference in effect , and lower ppm is recommended rather than push too hard and cause problems , other aspects of the grow a lot more inportant than pushing high ec
Seams more of a marketing thing , good nutes but plant happy with either type of nutes , ie npk is just npk you can’t push more of one than the other more expensive type

Thanks guys I’ll go look at the npk ratio and let you guys know. And it’s interesting it’s a pharmaceutical grade nutrient, should be a big step up from the cheapo nutrient I used to use! I’m hoping to see a noticeable difference, this used with the root accelerators should really provide a good environment for them, I’m going to stay on top of cleanliness and temps so if it doesn’t work good it won’t be for the lack of trying!
